Very tasty food and great service. The starters just melt in your mouth. The staff had some good recommendation of organic wine.
If you are a vegan this place should be your Mecca.
I am not but I am worried this place might turn me...into one.More
This small plant-based restaurant was recommended by our accommodation host as one of the best vegan restaurants in Lisbon. The restaurant is tucked away a small street in Alfama old town. It’s small, with an intimate but lively and friendly atmosphere. We particularly liked the...open kitchen so we could watch the service while we were sat at our table. Service was delightful. Our waitress was friendly and keen for a joke, she made great recommendations regarding the food and drink menu. The restaurant prioritises local and seasonal food and this was reflected in the small food menu. We ordered all the dishes between the three of us and were not disappointed. The dishes were presented beautiful, with intricate attention to detail both visually and gastronomically. The flavours were delicious. Highly recommend the broccoli soup starter if you visit in Spring. The desserts were the least overwhelming part of the evening and these took a little while to come as well. Mid-range prices but good value for money. If you’re a vegan/veggie in Lisbon you must visit.More
Downtown Lisbon has a fantastic selection of vegan restaurants and Food Temple really stood out. We dined outside, on the staircase where the restaurant had a clever set up to accommodate guests. We were joined by our friends, a family of four with two young...children. Everyone had a great time. The food was unique and delicious. The wine we ordered that night was probably one of the best bottles we had during our time in Portugal, and the service was so attentive and kind. I can't recommend this enough for vegan or omnivores who are open to appreciating the art of vegan cooking.More
Everything was so delicious. Normally I only have one course, but I had to go for starter, main and dessert. Very creative cuisine and love for detail. Each course was an experience itself. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Food is fantastic, everything is vegan and shall convince any non vegan friendly to become one !
Beers and wine are very good, especialy compared to the average portuguese beers...
Staff is sweet as hell, chief is a corazon !
If you go to Lisboa,...do not miss this place plz 🙏More
This vegan Restaurant is honestly Great!! The Service is very friendly and funny. The bruschetta is a MUST try!! But basically all the food was delicious. Its also located near some stairs, where you can sit and enjoy the food, very cozy!!
We sat on the stairs outside for dinner and it was a really cool experience. The food was well made and the service good. However if you dont like smoking this might nok be the place for you. The girls that sat above us on...the stairs chainsmoked and even though we were outside it did cause a lot of smoke to get near us. Having astma this unfortunately meant we had to cut our dinner short at skip the dessert.More
Really unfriendly. Waited for 10 minutes to be seated (we had a reservation). Once seated waited for another 10 minutes to get a menu/any sort of acknowledgement. Nothing happening 10 minutes after so we left. Terrible service, unfriendly people.
We have a machine that accepts Portuguese cards only. Foreign credit cards won't be accepted, so in case you are coming from elsewhere, it would be best to be prepared with cash :)
