We stumbled across restaurant on our first night … unable to get a booking for that evening we booked fir the following night. At first glance the restaurant looks like a small smart Portuguese restaurant. We you actually enter you realise what a tardis it...is !! The walls are stylishly covered with photos of the famous people who have frequented the establishment. The decor is very smart contemporary. We were shown to a table upstairs which was pre laundry with olives, two types of butter, bread, a small Camembert type cheese ( melted) and a plate of hams and cheese. We looked at the menu and made our choices. I had six oysters ( they were very large could have happily had 3) which were very nice. My husband had iberico ham carved at the table. My husband had steak with a mushroom sauce ( very nice ) came with chips and spinach and I had the grilled octopus came with new potatoes and spinach. We had a bottle of Portuguese wine which was nice enough tasted a bit like Sherry to me. The service was excellent a x good was very good the bill came up euros 140 which was expensive but worth it. We liked this restaurant and would recommend it/go back.More

Fabulous place with fabulous people working there. We had a car which could not enter the restricted area around the castle (strictly for local residents only) so we got as close as possible and the guys helped lug our baggage up the hill and back...down at the end. We had a business call to join from the hotel and the internet connection was dropping so one of the guys allowed us to use his phone to connect - for almost 2 hours! Really amazing place with amazing views and fantastic atmosphere/ decor. The team always greet you with a friendly face and we can’t wait to get back to stay with them again!More

We were there in 2018. The cheese. wine, service and meal was outstanding. It was recommended to us by the taxi driver and was just around the corner from our hotel so it was the first place we ate at in Lisbon. It kind of...spoiled us for the rest of the places....not really as they are all good but this was one of the best!More

According to the waitstaff, the secret ingredient is Knorrr! At such a fancy restaurant, pretty disappointing. Also, they have gluten free foods, but not their main dishes, like rice, for some reason contains gluten.

Delightful restaurant. We were lucky to get a table at 7.45pm. It filled up quickly later on. Waiters chatty and good fun. Food excellent and although not a budget establishment, good value. Great bottle of Albariño for €17.50. Huge live lobsters and crabs in a...vivarium near the entrance Came here on our first night in Lisbon and have booked it for our last.More

Good local cuisine (fish) but not the level we expected. Regular bacalhau, great sopa de centollo and cod croquettes. Service is a bit too ‘pushy’

I believe you can't get a cosy room for a romantic dinner. Normally is full of tourists or business people.

You should be able to get a map from a decent hotel or the tourist office, and Rua das Portas Santo Antao is in the central district Restuaradores
