We had a great dinner at Armazem - staff were so friendly and welcoming, they really encouraged us to look at all the fresh fish on offer and advised us on how our selection would be cooked. We had a whole sea bass which our server deboned for us at the table, served with delicious garlic potatoes and a fresh salad. Very well priced, really wonderful meal!

We (a family of 3) went there a couple of times during our stay around Sagres. The first time was fantastic, the second one just slightly less so, but still good.
The good stuff: the waiters are extremely kind. The service is quick, efficient, but very personal and friendly.
We came with our 2 year old boy and he was welcomed, entertained and smiled at constantly.
There’s an outside space which was great for the little one to run around and play with a couple of other kids, while we were eating.
The mains were fantastic, i had fish both times - very fresh- and my husband a steak - which was a good value for money.
What could have made it even better: when we came in the second time, the chairs at our table in the outdoor space were very dusty and clearly have not been cleaned. Had to clean them myself before sitting down.
We had bread, butter and sardines pate to start with. The bread and pate was very tasty, but the butter wasnt even butter, it was a margarine in a plastic container, for which we were charged 2 euros...

Excellent meal. My wife has prawns in garlic - perfectly cooked, not overdone as they often are. I had Iberian pork steak, which was delicious, s as were the accompaniments. Helpful waiter advised on choices and cuts. Only mistake was the house wine - didn’t want a full bottle so ordered this but it was a bad choice though great value! Would definitely go bank.

We chose this place because of the menu however the service is TERRIBLE. Seated at 830, ordered our full dinner (most of the items on the menu were sold out) and wine arrived at 845, appetizers at 930 and dinner at 950. Many around us were frustrated and complaining however staff were shrugging it off saying they were busy. This place is not worth the frustration.

Food is super overpriced, the service is terribly slow. I got there at 20.30 and they had run out of half of the options on the menu. On top of that, the place was really packed (where are the covid-19 measures if all the kids and customers -going to the toilet- are allowed to walk freely without a mask?). And last: we had to wait LITERALLY ONE HOUR to get the only two dishes we ordered!
Clearly this is one of those beautifully dressed restaurants with poor service and food which is terribly mediocre. There are many good options just around the corner... do not waste your time and money here, please!

Stopped in here for lunch after touring Cape St Vincent. Great choice of grilled meat and fish. The octopus salad was a great starter
We both had the beef which was cooked perfectly

Lovely ambience, authentic and relaxed atmosphere, wine was amazing and reasonably priced. fresh fish and meat to select for your meal, professionally cooked, great with the kids, nothing was too much trouble. Was a very relaxed and enjoyable evening.

We ordered a whole grilled Durado, it came perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious! The potatoes and salad that came with it were excellent. We had fun chatting with our server and wished we could return, but were leaving the next day. Highly recommended!

The Spareribs where good, crispy on the outside, soft inside and a terrific taste. The ribeye was unexpected low quality meat, and therefore way to expensive. The fries where not good either. I would not return.

December in the Algarve sees many of our favourite places closed so the challenge is on to find places that are open.
I'm so pleased we found this place. Staff were very welcoming and there is a large menu to suit all.
The fish we had (dourada for two ) was cooked to perfection as were the lamb chops.
We will be back

5 of us enjoyed a wonderful meal celebrating a great time hiking the Rota Vicentina. Our waiter suggested a sea bass for the whole table to share. It was wonderful! We also enjoyed Sangria, green wine, and 2 of us shared "the best chocolate cake in the world." Our fish came with potatoes and salad. Our waiter was just terrific, staying very patient and jovial with us, AND he expertly deboned the fish.

We only had a very light lunch here. We were very impressed with the quality of the fish and the meats on display in their fridge ready for cooking. The staff were great, full of fun and I would certainly go back for a proper evening meal next time.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to positively evaluate this restaurant, nor recommend it to my friends and acquaintances. Yesterday, despite having already been there for the 3rd time, I noticed a lot of disorganization in the customer service who were booking a table late, as the space was full and the occupied tables were placed on top of other customers who were having dinner. Here's a tip: Do this type of service at the entrance to the outdoor space, it would be much more beneficial. I also highlight the time spent waiting for the food, around 45 minutes to 1 hour. After finishing the meal, they were too slow to clear the table to move on to dessert and coffee. Yesterday the price, flavor and quantity ratio left a lot to be desired. But what struck me most was the arrogance and arrogance of the restaurant owner or manager who, without anyone asking, arrived and hit the table with the bill tray (did he want to send us away?????, we only left more than €200.00 there). , nothing else). Once again I say, whoever builds the houses is the one who manages them and you can rest assured that I will never set foot there again and that table will always be vacant, at least on my part. However, I would like to highlight the attention of a younger young man (I'm sorry I don't know his name) who will probably be learning that he was extremely friendly towards us. Thank you very much to this young man. Joaquim Pereira.

The restaurant is located between the "hip" bars/restaurants in the center of Sagres. The place is very comfortably furnished and the central fish counter stands out, where you can choose the fish of the day. We decided on Portuguese carrots and bread as a starter. For the main course there were shrimps and fresh sea bream. Everything was very nicely served and was very tasty. However, the portions could be a bit bigger. The service was OK and friendly. The price/performance ratio for the fresh fish was very good. The shrimps were a bit small for the price.

Nice seafood restaurant. We had a combination of fish and meat dishes here and all were very nice - definitely worth visiting. Service was pleasant but slow at times (it’s always busy) - even though there were loads of staff on.
