Absolutely delicious food!

Absolutely delicious pizzas and risotto . Called for a takeaway for myself my partner and son . Ordered 2 vegetarian pizzas, burrata focaccia and shrimp risotto . All absolutely DELICIOUS!!! 2 for 1 on pizzas Friday nights so a really good price also . The truffled burrata garlic focaccia was unreal! Goats cheese and red onion pizza also incredible! My partner really enjoyed his risotto, good portion size and lots of fresh shrimp . Very friendly gentleman when I went to collect gave me extra breadsticks and some sweets! Can’t wait to try more of the menu next time . Thank you .

Serious pizza in Sagres!

Firstly we were put at ease by how seriously the staff were taking Covid-19 precautions. Strict on face masks, hand sanitiser and cleaning tables which made us confident it was a safe place to eat. We both ordered pizza and wow... my pizza was the best I have had in a long time! The service was super friendly and my request to change the type of cheese on my pizza was accommodated with a smile. We were lucky enough to get in on their 2 for 1 promotion that was running on Tuesdays in July which made the meal incredible value (I believe the promotion will run again from September). I would eat there again in a heartbeat!

"very pleasantly surprised"

A spur of the moment decision to visit this place, on my own. I was hungry my wife wasn't. Despite the restaurant's "chain" appearance my meal was very good (lasagne) and served piping hot. Served by a "smiling" pretty waitress. The bill was very fair, how to get it right !

Average food, too expensive, terrible service

The food is average for an so called Italian restaurant. We order a Pizza a Risoto and a salad and everything was average. The price for the drinks, coffee and deserts is incredible expensive, really ridiculous. almost 3€ for a beer 1.2€ for a coffee, etc. Close, facing the ocean in the beach you get 2 beers or 2 coffees form the price of one at Ditalia. The service is the worst you can imagine. From getting a table to order everything was a bad experience. We ask for the coffees saying that we were in a hurry. After 10 minutes without having the coffees served I went inside and there were 5 employees inside the counter talking and laughing with all the customers waiting. One of the worst services I've ever see.

We had 2 nights at this place because it was that amazing!!!! very kind caring staff. they bought the pizza out singing happy birthday for my friend on request. Amazing work by Nicole! one of the only waitresses I have met from England that really shows a passion for work and love for people! I don't really leave tips for just any thing but her caring, loving and hard working character changed that. i hope everything works out for her and I really hope this business stays up and running for our next trip. absaloutly amazing! liam shipperlee

Tourist Trap

A real tourist trap. A lot of prefab. Don't go here if you are craving Italian food. Go here if you are craving fast food that's too expensive. Corn, broccoli and green beans in the lasagne. Probably from the freezer. The lasagne over all was way too greasy. Pizza dough was chewy and the cheese was only greasy and salty as well. Two stars for the relaxed atmosphere and quick service. This was probably the case because it's winter now. There were a lot of free tables. In summer it might be too crowded with bad service on top of the bad food. Blegh. We both felt nauseous afterwards.

Good pizzeria in Sagres

Great lunch experience for a late venue at 16:00 with 7 persons and no reservation on a 15th of august. Thanks to Oliver our guest, who manage to serve us fast with a great sense of professionalism and always with smile. Food was incredibly good and service was fast. A complete lunch with coffee and drink for less than 25€ per person. A place to visit if you want to eat late during your vacations in Algarva.

We stopped in for an early dinner after going to Fortaleza de Sagres. It was a breezy evening but we opted to sit outside. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the food was reasonably priced as well as delicious which made for a relaxing meal. We started with bruschetta, then I had the Spaghetti al Vongole and Gamberetti and my husband had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Overall an enjoyable experience.

One of the highlights of our day

While on our Algarve Portugal vacation, we decided to take a drive to Sagres to see the area. After visiting the Fortaleza de Sagres, we were tired and hungry. It was a beautiful March day, and we wanted to eat on a patio. Spotted D'Italia Pizzeria and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and with generous portions. Deserts were delicious as well. Prices were reasonable. At about 25 Euros each we had the most enjoyable lunch complete with drinks and desert. Staff were very friendly, and we left satisfied and happy. I don't usually take the time to review restaurants, but when one is above and beyond I think they should receive the kudos deserved.

Food was excellent. Particularly loved the baked dough balls in olive oil, which I was skeptical about when ordering. The server was right that it’s delicious and so satisfying! Portions are big. Music was a hoot with Queen in the background (and most singing or humming along). Clean, including toilets, fast and attentive service, really kind and hospitable staff.

Wonderful restaurant starting out with the awesome staff of Romona, Oliver, Julienne, Marcos and Pipo. They were all very attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food was divine as our party of four all shared meals, all of them were the very best. The ambiance was delightful and a must visit restaurant when in Sagres.

After reading reviews and looking at pictures we were quite excited to visit . Me and my partner had the prawns to start which were absolutely terrible . Frozen prawns then overcooked were hard to chew & didn't give much hope for the seafood risotto I ordered- also overcook in a watery sauce. Not the worst food but definitely does not match up to other reviews. Be aware x

Service was great, big shout out to claudio, oliver and afonso, always there when we needed something and quick on the delivery. The lasagne was a little bit off, since it was flooding in chunks of tomato, but still delicious. Certainly a must visit in Sagres!

Brilliant experience

We have visited this restaurant on 2 consecutive holidays 2 years in a row because of its sublime overall experience. They have a great selection of Pizzas, Salads, and pastas. Many of which are family favorites ( prosciutto/rocket pizza, salame pizza, quinoa and Niçoise salad ). The food arrives in a timely manner and is delicious. Service is also excellent and swift. We were treated to be served by Alfonsio who was very helpful and engaging ( he also generously provided us with some bonus candy ) All round 2 great experiences

Yummy food and friendly servers

Had the bruchetta and pasta with clams and prawns both dishes were yummy. Staff were efficient and friendly without being over bearing. Cost 28 euro for both dishes but also had a glass of vino, a coffee and a sparkling water. A really enjoyable treat.
