This is what a southern portuguese should be like. Seafood like with good quality, friendly warm service and affordable. I will be back.

This is one of Portimão's best but temporarily closed due to ill health I believe. Always busy and packed on Sunday lunch. Let's hope it re-opens in 2021.
This place beats others in every possible way. First of all, we were served by the funniest waiter ever. Always joking around, attentive and helpful even though the place was always crowded. They went extra mile and kept the place opened after working hrs due...to late coming customers. The food was an amazing home made creation with very generous portions. Don't get misled by the interior beacuse this place has so much to offer. We like to visit different places but this one won our hearts big time and we didn't want to eat anywhere else ever since we tried it.More
Nothing fancy about this restaurant. A bit hidden in Portimao but not difficult to find. Top local food, famous for their açorda dish but all plates made with respect for quality products. The young waiter is a pleasure to deal with and even when very...busy at lunch with mostly local people, he never looses his good mood. Unrivalled prices.More
It it wasn't for the wifi password warning in the wall, one could think that we were back in the 80's. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, the fish is so fresh, that it's just perfect. There is a downside - the atmosphere...is not sophisticated. It's advisable to call before to make a reservation. But for sure we will return.More
Guerreiro's is more or less the same as I recall it was over 30 years ago when I first visited it and is now one of the few genuine cervejarias left in the area with many others having re-modelled themselves into upmarket restaurants and in...the process losing their appeal! Always busy with a good range of wholesome regional dishes at excellent prices. Be early for lunch as it is the haunt of many local business people. Sundays it is usually packed so again get there in good time!More
We've been going here for almos 30 years, the quality is excellent never changing. If you've never tried açorda but would like to, this is the place. Word of advice, half portion is enough for two!!!
Great restaurant, you need to search for it but very worthwhile when found. No need for a menu as Chicken Piri Piri is all they serve with chips or rice and salad. Great staff, plain and simple surroundings but you can't beat the value. English...speaking also. Very traditional BBQ restaurant.More
