Incredible service; Just before entering I hurt my finger and it was bleeding quite heavily, the waiter immediately offered to disinfect my finger, put a plaster on it and gave me an extra one. This was so nice, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. You can eat à la carte or opt for the menu with starter, main dish and dessert. The choice of dishes that you can take from the menu is very extensive. The quality of the food was excellent and more than enough. The service was very smooth and always with a personal touch. The decor of the restaurant is very modern and done with taste. I can highly recommend this restaurant, but reservations are key, I saw several people leave disappointed because it was full.

A while ago I went to restaurant Alexandra on the Van Bunnenplein in Knokke again!!
For the umpteenth time we had a SUPER food again!! This family restaurant, where mother Christiane is the Chef and where son Peter and partner Kimberley provide perfect service, is always a delight for the taste buds!! All dishes and suggestions are very pure, fresh and perfectly prepared!! CHAPEAU to the restaurant and their team that has been known for years!!! Where it is delicious... people like to come back and you can see that in the many regular customers who appreciate such delicious and genuine cuisine, just like my wife and myself!!

I visited this restaurant when I was in Knokke Heist and I was very pleased with the restaurant. I went to the Bar at the restaurant before eating and had a few pre-dinner drinks, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I then headed to the restaurant and enjoyed a perfectly cooked fresh sea bass with mash potato. It was all amazing. The service was excellent and provided us a great dining experience. I have no complaints about this restaurant!

We went for dinner with friends on an evening during the week. Alexandra likes to promote their menu at 50€ for starter/main course/desert or coffee, however for more than half of the dishes of the menu, you have to pay a serious extra anyway, so the chance to eat for 50€ within the menu is very small. Therefore we ended up with a much higher bill than expected. The most shocking however is their winelist. Surprisingly (...) their cheaper wines were sold out. The rosé "Minuity" which I love and which I buy for 10€/bottle, is sold here with a margin of 470% at 47€/bottle. Never seen so exaggerated prices for wines than at Alexandra.
Let's talk Corona then ... 1.5 meter distance between the tables is non-existing. I was sitting back to back with my neighbour at the table behind us. On 20/07/2024 we were there for dinner at Bar A Vina. We had booked by phone on 16/07 but on arrival there was nothing to be found of any reservation; no excuses, but we got a table with the remark that this had to be free at 2045 hours!
