Having a nut allergy I have avoided Thai restaurants. But we decided to try the restaurant after reflection. After explaining my predicament the owner and staff helped me with my choice of food. I settled on the beef dish with rice whilst my two friends both had green curries. We all agreed the food was very tasty. The owner also helped choose an excellent bottle of red wine.

Had dinner here with 3 persons. Took a set menu with 4 different dishes. Well prepared and nice flavours for a friendly price. When the place is packed, service can take a bit longer. Reservation is adviced.

We dined here this evening. Excellent food and friendly service.The menu was only in Thai & Dutch but the waitress helped us to understand the meals and what we ordered was very tasty.The only problem was when we came to pay the bill I offered a UK credit card and found out that only debit cards were accepted.I tried my UK debit card but this was not accepted by the card reader.Eventually I had to leave my wife and return to our rented apartment to get some cash. It was fortunate that the apartment was nearby as the nearest ATM was some distance away.

To start with, there was a young girl serving. There wasn't a smile or a kind word the entire evening. So disinterested . Very unfortunate! the satay was delicious, the main course chicken with some fruit was tasty, but hardly any chicken.

This restaurant has the best Thai food in town. It's located very close to the harbour and downtown. Price of the food is amazing. Go there, and after that you will go back for sure. It's a small place so make reservations. My favourite place!

If you are in hoorn and want to havea good thai food, this is the place. I have been there for many times and still good. The taste is authentic and not too much adapated to the local taste which is very good.
The staff is friendly and the location is good. Just in the city center not the busiest street but in a unique old building. We have ordered: beef with green and red onion with korinder and chili, papaya salad with seafruit and vegetarian pad thai. Happy tummy!

We ordered take away over the phone, and the staff was very helpful in working through our preferred menu options. Upon arrival, the order was ready, and even though we did not dine in, I really liked the ambience of the place. A previous review said that it was good despite outside (or inside) impression, but I thought the inside impression is good. There is hygge.
We ordered 4 different dishes - portions were generous, but best of all was the flavor. Two vegetarian and two with chicken; all were flavorful, and only one had spicy heat - but it was a perfect level of heat: not burn-your-mouth-and-mask-the-flavor hot yet not so mild you couldn’t tell there was spice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Thai Restaurant Buriram in Hoorn is one of the best restaurants I ever visite in my whole live. The menu is Hot, steamy and contains the most extremely nice food. Eat the chicken, taste the fish, but don't forget to order the appetizer. The Buriram Mix.

While staying in fantastic Hoorn for a three week home exchange, we tried this cozy, comfortable restaurant due to the very good reviews here.
We have enjoyed Thai food in many countries, including Ireland, Australia, Italy and of course in many cities in the USA. . . this wonderful place did not disappoint.
Here is a place to relax and enjoy freshly prepared dishes to your liking. For example, my husband preferred vegetables in his coconut chicken curry to the standard potatoes shown on the menu. Our friendly waitress asked the chef to change the dish and it was no problem at all. I loved the cashew chicken. . . not too spicy . . . just right. The dishes came with a big bowl of steamed rice. . . which made enough for us to take some of each chicken meal home for dinner (with an added salad) the next night.
Great food, lovely ambiance, friendly service, portions large enough to take some home. Highly recommended!!!

take your time, food is good, service can be a bit slower if not fully staffed. But highly recommended and compared to the many tourist restaurants in Hoorn, this is worth a visit.
