We (3 adults) had dinner in the beautiful garden terrace on a sunny Friday evening (16th June 2023). I had asked for a quiet table, which was waiting for us upon arrival: a round table in a green corner. It was perfect for discrete conversation. we started with a glass of champagne, which was perfect (temperature, perfect glass, ..). Some very tasty and refined amuse-gueule were served . We had bisque with rouget, and had another glass of wine. All wines could be ordered by the glass! The bisque was the best we ever had. also, it was a generous portion. The passion fruit dessert was simply paradise in the mouth. Top gastronomy at correct prices and very friendly and professional staff. highly recommendable!

Due to the disappearance of a number of good restaurants, the region no longer had a restaurant of a high level where you were entertained at a high level both in the experience and the food presented. It was a taste sensation. With the arrival of Ysbrantsz in Hoorn in the historically located square in the center of the city, where old times are revived, there has been a culinary enrichment in the region.
Quality, price and experience are well balanced. As a guest you go out for a wonderful evening and go home happy and satisfied. Normally you don't know what you have eaten after 2 days, but more than a week later I can still name every dish and will definitely recommend this restaurant.
I predict this restaurant rising quickly in the charts, which means the number of visitors will be significantly higher. However, it is worth waiting for this. I am already looking forward to my next visit and will be placing my next reservation soon.

We choose the chef’s menu, 5 very tasty refined dishes with matching wines!
The restaurant looks very cozy and the serving staf is very professional and friendly!

Well, it's been a while; an almost perfect experience! The dishes are really nice and have a perfect balance between price/quality. The staff is really supportive, nice atmosphere with different areas inside/outside. Really appreciated it, we will definitely come back soon!

This is one of our favourite restaurants on this planet...but our most recent meal was not up to scratch, hence the low rating. The service was super slow and our main courses, when they eventually arrived, were cold.

In 2022 we dined in this then brand new Ysbrantsz. We liked that. High time to visit this restaurant again. This time lunch. One presents a rather narrow lunch menu but with tempting things. We chose Club Sandwich Ysbrantsz and Eggs Benedict. We liked them. The egg dish was excellent according to my partner .. my club sandwich tasted good .. just a pity they serve it with sliced chicken instead of grilled chicken themselves. Enfin. Service smooth and friendly. It was busy around lunchtime .. the acoustics deserve improvement .. the very large bar in the middle of the restaurant makes the guest room a bit cramped and restless.

After countless delicious lunches at Ysbrantsz, we finally had the opportunity for dinner again. We were very hospitably welcomed by Larissa and chose the Chef’s menu of 5 courses. Each course was a work of art on the plate and a feast of flavours. From the hamachi, red mullet, veal cheek, guinea fowl and the delicious dessert with strawberry merengue it is difficult to choose a favorite, everything was delicious.
