I only discovered this place via trip advisor 15 minutes prior to arriving and was in lucky in getting a table without a booking on a Tuesday. I imagine this place to be busy at weekends, so maybe book in advance. The menu has a great choice, but i chose the round steak with baked potato and at further cost, garlic mushrooms, vegtables and mushroom sauce. I wasn't disapointed. It was absolutley amazing. Everything i ordered was just perfect. The steak was mouthwatering. Reasonably priced for quality with friendly staff. I will be back 100%.

The food was very tasty. We would eat there again. Very tasty appetizers and also main courses. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating. When staying in Den Helder, this restaurant is worth a visit.

Quality meal and comfortable atmosphere

We enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The salmon was excellent. Moderately priced and good quality, this is a great spot for a couple or group to dine in Den Helder.

Good Food, Friendly Service, Moderately Priced

We had lunch at this place and can truly recommend it. Very friendly and attentive staff, supporting each other. We had two different toasts, both were really good. So were French Fries and a side salad.

Restaurant visit

Came over to spend an evening here. Have been before. Nice food, delicious but last nights service was just incredible poor. We had 3 handicapped children with us. Staff were nice with them but they were getting irritating waiting for our food. Extremely busy. Staff ran off their feet. Far too many customers for the staff to deal with. Spend 2 hours there of which a good hour was spend waiting. Not a pleasant experience.

Really good meal

We went to eat there with a client and the main project team to celebrate the end of the development phase. It was organized by a member of the team who knew one of the employees of the restaurant. I have to say everything was really good and the portions were generous. It was tasteful and well prepared. A colleague also had eaten there a few times and was also saying that he really liked the place. The staff was friendly and competent. In all we had a nice evening.

Great atmosphere

Some friends took us to Flow and we weren’t disappointed Really friendly staff, lovely building with high ceilings and great atmosphere Good food choice and my Ribs were amazing. Burgers looked good too Busy restaurant, clearly popular with the locals English menus available!

Great bar diner

Our first experience of Dutch hospitality after we’d just arrived in Den Helder and very pleased. Great service, varied menu, food was good and fresh and a great vibe. Well worth a visit!

We were repeat diners @ Flow Stadscafe and really enjoyed it

I ate at Flow Stadscafe 3 itmes with my work coleagues. The atmosphere is really cozy and chic a the same time. My favorite meal was the bavette steak with fries and a tall 1L beer on tap (beer from a local island brewery starting with "T") Food on all 3 visits was consistently fresh and delicious - part of the reason we kept returning to visit. We found the price to be appropriate for the quality/quantity of food (value for money) Service was very friendly. TIPS: 1) Beware of when the kitchen closes for main meals. On weekday nights we visited, this was around 9:30pm, after which you can only get snack meals. 2) The circular booths are very comfortable for seating and to get a great view of the restaurant.

Flow has a nice menu. It specializes in meat: Burgers, bavette, meat platters and so on. After half past nine there is a DJ. There is a downstairs lavatory for people that cannot use the stairs. Upstairs is a second bar (more a cocktailbar vibe) and more seats for dining.

Great restaurant

We ate dinner and the food was just great. We had a 500gr hamburger and combination of meat for 2 and it was very nice presented and taste great. The restaurant is very nice decorated and quiet. Highly recommended.

Fanastic recommendation

This place is very easy to find as its located in the middle of a shopping street, and just down the road from the train/bus station. Decor of the place is very nice, bar is fantastic. Staff are friendly, and accomodating. Menu has a variety to suit anyone's tastes. Steaks and ribs were fantastic! Salads were greatly enjoyed too. Highly recommended.
