Amazing dining experience - would definitely recommend.
Initially we were a little taken aback by the location of the restaurant - down a dodgy looking alleyway in the Red Light District, but as soon as we entered we knew it was going to be a great night.
Marco and the team are so attentive, they instantly made us feel relaxed. We had a great laugh with him and his brother after the meal too.
The food was unreal, with each course having a theme, this is then made into a sensory experience with a matching audio visual for each one. The volume is still perfect and allows for conversation without it being intrusive.
The wine pairings went perfectly with each course. They are generous with the pours too, often offering 2nd glasses.
Would definitely recommend you try it when you have the chance.

Great restaurant hidden in plain sight at the red light district. The staff at this restaurant really knows what they are doing, apart from taking good care they take you through the “journey” of the evening, Marco is one of the better hosts i’ve ever experienced to date.
The food itself is something different from the ordinary and special you can taste the chef and his team put effort in it.
Definitely recommend Bellezza for an evening out, and also make sure to have a drink upstairs in the cocktailbar as you will really be surprised of what they have to offer.

Personally we wouldn’t spend the money to do this again and it isn’t worth what we paid . I don’t think it’s quite the ‘sound experience’ it’s made out to be and at points we didn’t even notice what sounds / music were on.
The food is very good don’t get me wrong but the tiny portion of wine (which differs each time as it is just free poured) is not worth the money.
Locals were also offered a ‘half portion’ of the wine tasting which we weren’t- I am presuming this is half the price but at €80 for wine pairing for 2 I would suggest the portion sizes at least seem larger than they are.
We were also facing the kitchen door (no door) the entire time so could see into the kitchen itself where the staff wait for the food so overall that also ruined any illusion they are trying to portray.
The toilets are also IN the kitchen itself. While I am aware this isn’t potentially the restaurants fault all I could think of was the hygiene element of the toilets being directly in the kitchen. For a 5* experience I really wouldn’t be back.
In addition, the staff big up ‘heaven’ where desert is . But let me pre warn you- do not get excited unless you are 6 years old. All it is is an extra room with sweets placed in the centre of the room , where everyone is crammed round a table while you have dessert.
In addition I emailed the restaurant to advise it was my husbands birthday to find someone else had a celebratory free shot and this was celebrated but the note that it was our celebration was completely disregarded / ignored
Not worth the money.
There is no experience with regards to sound and special effects as I was sat directly looking into the kitchen anyway
Extremely disappointed and needs a lot of work if they are looking to carry on charging almost Michelin star prices.
Upset that this was a negative review due to the cost we paid, but honest review nonetheless.
Food was great and I would suggest they concentrate more on this rather than the wine pairing at such a high cost and the ‘experience’

Myself & a friend came here for dinner on a Sunday evening at the beginning of October.
The food: amazing! It’s a tasting menu, so small portions, but honestly the best food. My highlight was the black garlic polenta. My friend also opted for a scallop to begin which she said was really great. I had the veggie menu and my friend had some particular dietary requirements which were all catered for with no fuss, and all wait staff were aware and knowledgable.
The staff: really attentive, always filling our glasses and making sure we were okay. We shared a bottle of red wine and after we’d tasted it to make sure it wasn’t corked, the waiter left the bottle to aerate and then came back to our table to pour it for us — it was this level of attention that was so great.
We tried 2 of the red wines from the menu, had a glass of champagne and a cocktail at the bar at the end and all of them were excellent. The cocktail bartender created us some really special drinks.
I would consider this an expensive meal (especially with the amount we drank) but the entire experience was incredible and I’d definitely return.

Had the pleasure of visiting as a group of 8 friends for dinner as the last night on a week long trip to explore the Netherlands. We’d eaten at 3 Michelin starred restaurants across the country over the course of the week and have to say the experience at Bellezza topped them all. All of the friends enjoyed the experience - the vegetarian and meat taster menus & wine flights were just super. Loved the food, the music, the experience - will definitely be back for more. Awesome.

ALL staff were very welcoming and attentive. They explained the flavourings in each dish personally to each group. I recommend the wine pairing with the dishes as an extra to add to the experience. We enjoyed a brief description of the wines and reasons as to why it had been paired with the dish. Our waiter and bar mixologist named Bresh was particularly lovely and professional.
ALL dishes demonstrated unique flavourings and textures with a delicate well thought through presentation. Each combined with assorted styles of bread married up with tasty dips or butters to compliment the flavourings.

We had a high standard dinner with beautifull small courses. Eye pleasing, gorgious, delicious, and absolutely exciting flavors. It was hard to choose, but our favourite course was the skrei (winter haddock), with black garlic, beurre noisette, mushrooms, and lapsang suchong.
Heads off and many kudos to these chefs! Also very friendly and attentive service. Every course of the menu has a special theme that has been carried through in every detail; From the different home baked rolls and special butters that come with every course (f.i. black ba pow, algae butter), to the wine pairing, the beautiful moving visuals surrounding you, the interior, the music. Not only our pallets were triggered but all of our senses.

Fine dining in a beautiful setting: slack in the middle of the hustle of the red light district. Living in Amsterdam this was a true discovery for me that I would love to highlight here if you are looking for crazy good food, with great wine pairings and expert service.
I personally thought the best was kept for last: incredible desert in ‘heaven’ (you are taken a floor up), with savory and sweet sour tickle ice cream, and a home made bonbon.
All in all maybe a touch too fast-paced, but definitely something to surprise yourself and others, especially if you have something to celebrate!

A delicious "fine dining" with very nice and special decoration; the image effects and musical support really make it an experience. It's nice that you dine in different rooms; hall of mirrors, heaven and speakeasy cocktail lounge have all been furnished with great care. The dishes are delicious, I can't choose a favorite. The portions are good, the pace is high between the different courses, but that was not disturbing. 1x yuca and 1x break bread were served with the dishes and that was a tasty addition. We both had a mocktail which was delicious. I would definitely go back and try a different theme. The image effects were stimulating, artistic and exciting, not offensive but 'out of the box', really nicely done! You have to see it with your own eyes, the dishes and image effects do not come into their own as well in (amateur) photos. It's just really beautiful and delicious.

We adored our entire experience at Bellezza, from the perfect service and ultra helpful staff to the delicious food. We tried flavours we would normally shy away from and each dish was a delightful experience. The chefs catered to my allergies and dietary preferences, and were aware of these from before we arrived as it was noted in our booking - just one part of the exceptional service. It was by far our best food experience in Amsterdam, even though most of our meals were exceptional. Highly recommend this to everyone, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a memorable Christmas Eve.

Read many good reviews about this Restaurant and decided to give it a try when we were in Amsterdam. This remarkable restaurant was hidden within a busy area. Very beautifully decorated. Though it was a group dining session, we got to enjoy some privacy with their unique seating arrangement. The service staffs were attentive and knowledgeable. They knew their product well and were able to make good introduction and recommendations. Just before the food was served, the glass panels on the 4 walls suddenly changed to become TV monitors. Beautiful clips and music were then played according to the theme of the food served. That makes this dining experience different from others. The food was of high quality and all tasted great. We are going to remember this beautiful place, lovely people and tasty food for a long long time. Highly recommended.

Bellezza is situated right smack bang on the Red Light district hidden away in a back alley within a small cute courtyard, taking you to a totally different experience to the chaos only 50ft away from you.
The staff greeted us and took our coats offering a champagne or cocktail to start.
It was clear that the restaurant was going to be a different experience with the screens around us and the unusual golden table that pulled everyone together closely. We started talking to the table next to us and then the seemingly intimate seating configuration made sense as the restaurant bound itself together as one.
The courses were then presented as part of a themed menu (ours being mother earth) with the visual on the screen adding an interesting mix to the overall experience. I do not eat fish but I must say the swap out option was very tasty and filling.
We went for the wine by the bottle and was of good quality.
Lastly we were offered to go upstairs to “Heaven” for desert, continuing the theme of a different experience of dining. We were presented with smoke coming down the stairs and a bright pink room with stars on the ceiling, it was very different and allowed some of the people to speak together.
The last room and where we collected the bill post a delicious cocktail was in the final room which is a speak easy vibe.
Overall the quality, experience and location makes for a fun evening. If you are looking for something a little different to try with your friends then give it a go.

A unique experience. Squeezes in between the ladies of the night and the sex shows is a doorway to a hidden courtyard and Bellezza. The atmosphere is great, the team are welcoming and knowledgable. A special mention to William and Vanessa who were both very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and fits the theme perfectly. The wines, especially the Spätburgunder, were excellent. The service was brisk but not too rushed. We really enjoyed the elaborate video exhibition.
The concept of 20 people being served at the same time does mean that staff are too focused on serving and not enough on taking orders. We had to repeat several orders multiple times. We were a little surprised that an upmarket restaurant didn’t offer decaffeinated coffee or oat milk.
