Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was really to make a reservation online. And once we arrived the table was set up immediately. The special pizza was explained very clearly and after one of us decided to choose it, ended up being a great choice.
The drink and food were all so good.

PERFECT pizzas with fresh ingredients, made with love & joy, and served by super friendly staff - what’s not to love about Pizza bakkers ! Of the 4 odd years that we have lived in Amsterdam, we have visited Pizza Bakkers once every week. It is so close to our home and we absolutely love their Margarita with extra basil and their yummy olives with almonds. HIGHLY RECCOMEND to become a regular here if u live in Amsterdam !

We are on a 3 day trip to Amsterdam with our two children (age 11 and 13) and decided to visit here for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Oud Zuid district a peaceful neighbourhood with a gorgeous charm about it. The restaurant was quiet as apparently they have only recently opened for lunch but the pizza was DELICIOUS! The guy serving us was charming and friendly and the restaurant is clean and modern - dark grey walls and exposed brick work. Crisp pizzas, chilled Pinot Grigio and a lovely ambiance. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

After a 9 month lockdown we were able to visit the Pizzabakkers Willemsparkweg again. So lovely to be there again and experience the warm welcome there! The pizzas tasted even better than the take out pizzas we enjoyed in lockdown time. Summer can begin now!

We called in early evening and were warmly welcomed. We sat upstairs, it is a small restaurant and was busy and also busy with customers calling in for takeaways. The vegetarian pizza options were great. The Aubergine, artichoke and Courgette pizza was lovely. We also enjoyed the rocket and fennel salad, so fresh. The restaurant was very warm so we were glad we were wearing layers and could take our top layers off , it’s probably the pizza oven ?
Recommend this restaurant for good quality pizzas

The pizzas were delicious and special requests were accommodated. Our group of 6, including a 4yo had a wonderful time. They give children a ball of dough to play with (and not to eat). This kept the 4yo well entertained :-)

Very central, nice and relaxed location. Setting is simple but cosy, especially upstairs. Great for a quick family or friends pizza night. Superfriendly staff and delicious pizza with quality toppings and a thin crust, hot from the oven! Which you can also order from home btw!

I am a local and frequent this restaurant regularly even though it’s across the city for me. It’s a cozy little place and smells amazing as soon as you walk in the door.
The staff is always friends and the service is great. This isn’t always the case in the Netherlands service industry so when they get it right it really stands out.
Tonight I had a table by the kitchen and got to see them all in action. They run like a welke oiled machine and it was great to see the staff being respectful to one another and having fun together.
I love the bruschetta, mixed olives and the Picante e Gorgonzola pizza is divine!

Perfect meal. Really tasty pizzas, with an interesting twist on the normal choices, without going too artisan and obscure. Staff were friendly with good service, felt like the perfect local restaurant, at a great value too!

We had a bit of a wait at the bar for our table as they were busy with a large group, but it was worth it! Bresaola and roasted endive starter were both good, and we shared a Campagnola pizza - perfectly cooked, best we've had outside Italy! Their Danilo beer is also delicious. Busy but helpful staff. Around €50 for 2 with drinks. Recommended!

My wife & I had a long day of back to back Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum visits, finishing around 5 pm this past Friday on a weeklong visit to Amsterdam. I had looked into nearby restaurants & we walked the 10 minutes to Pizzabakkers. We walked in without a reservation but were received kindly as they found a small table for us. We each had a Peroni & split a Pizza. It was amazing, thin with a crisp crust. We finished off with a Limoncello each & I asked our waiter if we could give a tip, which we did. We love the food, service & kindness.

The service is charming and dedicated. The standard menu is very attractive, but o man, try the monthly special: it is divine. No fancy wine list, but it supports the diner perfectly. And to top it off with the home made Tiramisu and a strong espresso: I will be back soon!

We walked to this pizza place from The Conservatorium hotel (good walk) with moderate expectations. The pizzas were great! They have a few locations all over the city. If you’re looking for a quick, casual meal, give it a try. Nice for families with small children too.

My wife and I got takeaway from Pizzabakkers recently while on vacation. We were tired from the day so chose to get takeaway back to hotel. The pizza came out slow (I believe they forgot about order) but gave me free beer for longer wait which was nice touch. The pizza was very tasty. We had the margherita pizza which was excellent. Good choice for pizza in nice and casual setting. Highly recommend.

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
