Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went for lunch and we loved it.
The food is very good, although the chicken nuggets for our little one were a little burnt.
The lentil soup is delicious, we definitely recommend this. Amazing mint tea.
Staff was very nice.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Good menu and if you want a dish modified they are usually happy to oblige. The prawn starter dish is delicious and for small eaters it is filling enough to be substituted for a main. The complimentary warm bread with dipping sauce is very nice. They are many things of the menu that are so tasty. For dessert, the baklava and the tiramisu spring to mind. They have a help yourself buffet lunch for 12 euro with many dishes.

I was so pleased to see that this restaurant had reopened after being closed for a long while. It had closed due to a kitchen fire so had to be rebuilt, and the owner/Manager Halil did a great job.
I have been here for lunch and dinner many times before the close and have now returned to enjoy great Turkish tea, excellent food and wonderful friendly service. And there to greet us was a warm and friendly guy named Marouane who remembered us from our previous visits. Now that shows passion for what he does. The bonus is the food is very good, the service fast and efficient, the team are great but Marouane is a service superstar.
The large menu is wide and varied with an excellent selection of Turkish delights along with some Dutch fare, cooked freshly on site. There’s a buffet for breakfast and lunch and to top it all off some great desserts and pastries. There’s also a very good choice of drinks, my favorite Turkish tea and great coffee. Every visit here has been a good one and now with the reopening one has a sense of new joy, a trendy and nice atmosphere that we were more than happy to return to and will again and again with such a great team, excellent food, why wouldn’t you!
Within the Bos en Lommer area this is the very best and my top recommendation.

Came in for a quick bite, had the falafel dish. Turned out to be surprisingly well made and savory, but served with a huge ball of white rice and some little bits of green salad and a small piece of tomato. I found it a bit meagre for my 10 EUR. Service was friendly enough, even if quite nonchalant and a bit haphazard, which I understand because the place is huge, and was filled for maybe 10 percent when I visited. Mixed feelings about this place.

We've had a seat and we're literally thrown the manus at the table waiter didn't even bother to say hallo. We've waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the table but we were deliberately ignored probably because of not being Muslim. We have felt like lepers there and left the place coz at some point it was clear that no one is going to serve us.

Love this restaurant the staff are always friendly and the food great I happily take friends here to relax sit talk drink Turkish tea and enjoy the great food and lovely exotic cakes and treats. The buffet is also great but my favorite is the big prawns with baked potato. Highly recommend if your in the Amsterdam West area of Bos en Lommerplein

One of the best Turkish restaurants in Amsterdam food wise. I have been there for my first time with two of my friends in my last visit to Amsterdam as it is quite far away from city center but it is worth it to visit. The quality and quantity are perfect as they are covering both sides lamb wise and beef wise with two different sections in the same menu. The only problem about them that food delays to serve but still they were very crowded that day as two of the table were having 40+ guests but overthought we loved the food. Price wise they are in the middle side but the lamb menu is quite cheaper than the beef side so you still manage yourself to stay within budget. The staff there is very friendly and they do their best to help you.

Just back home from a nice buffet breakfast/brunch/lunch here.
Fair price, plenty of choice (even for vegetarians like myself) of fruits, cheeses, meats, pastries, bread, soups and Turkish tea.
All you can eat for 12,90€ x person.
Clean place, nice staff, unlike the Meram in Osdorp which is messy and everyone is very rude!
I definitively recommend this place.
I will go again and try ordering from the menu as this place have very convenient opening times considering Amsterdam's restaurants mostly close very early in the evening.

We were staying in a hotel that was just a five minute walk from this restaurant and stopped in our first night when we got in late because it was the first restaurant we saw that was open. Thank god we did! Everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. We went back two more times after that first night. The deserts and Turkish tea were also incredible. If you're in the Bos en Lommer area this is a must try. Get the Baklava!

Great food, good portions, and overall filling experience! The sandwich was huge, the plater of meat was good, and the food was a hit with everyone.

The restaurant is very clean, the people are very nice and welcoming, especially the girl named "Kamla", she is really very welcoming and always smiling and gives you the feeling that you are the best customer.
Food quality is not the best. I have eaten in better Turkish restaurants, but you cannot say it is bad. I prefer Chicken rather than beef in that restaurant.
