We've been there just for appetizer. Informal place. Local food. Good selection of beers. Service was quick. I may try for a full meal.
Had a bit of trouble finding this on TA, I think it should be spelled il Merlo Parlante, and it said it was reported as closed but is definitely still in business. Great ale selection, cosy and interesting and just a teeny bit off the...beaten path so we walked right past it at first. The menu is a bit confusing but just let the bar staff know what you’re after and they’ll sort it out. A 33cl la chouffe is €4, we’re going to pop in again for a cheeky chocolate stout tomorrow.More
These guys, what can I say. So friendly, so knowledgeable. Superb beer always and great relaxed atmosphere. Luca is a total boss. Remember to get your belly out. Roberta - alright mate?
One of the best breweries in Cagliari. hundresds of selcted homeade beers from all over he world. Really professional, not really expensive according to the quality of beers, with delicious hot sandwiches. one of the best places to drink a good beer wih a friend...or a small group of friend!More
Surprisingly wide range of beers. They have wide range of various sorts especially IPA's very cozy atmosphere and very hospitable waiters...
I haven't been to this "birreria" in ages and recently decided to go back there with some friends, after such a long time. The interior hasn't changed that much (which is not a bad thing!!!) and the quality and choice of beers won't certainly let...anyone down as there is something for all tastes! Not to mention the food with unbelievably amazing sandwiches... This is not a usual pub but an institution!More
Some weeks ago i and friends went to eat at "Merlo Parlante"! After dinner we thought we needed to be thankfull to tripadviscor because it was awesome! Good sandwiches, a good place and awesome beers! I suggest that to everybody. Really really awesome!
This is the kind of place you go to if you want to wind down with no thrills. It serves very good sandwiches made on the premise for a fair price (around 5 Euros), if you are hungry. But its selling point is the remarkable...choice of beers. You could find beers for every taste from all over the world. On my last visit I discovered an outstanding artisan beer produced in Sardinia (indeed, not far from where I was) by the Barley Brewery. The place has been there for over 20 years and this is a testimony to the fact that they are doing something very right in a town where restaurants and pubs tend to come and go within five years. The place is unassuming: very basic décor, wooden tables and benches. It is popular with students. So it may not be the right place for a date or to celebrate an anniversary, but it is the perfect place if you want to relax with excellent beer and earthly good food. Staff is very nice and the owner has a true passion for and knowledge of beers.More
