Four hungry and tired travelers arrive at Al Moraro on a Sunday afternoon not realizing kitchen was closed between lunch (brunch?) and dinner. Most gracious hostess ( an owner?) explains she is so very sorry. Four hungry and tired travelers start back to their car...when same lady calls to us and says she feels so badly to turn us away. Would limited choices suffice? Boy- did they ever! We feasted on beautiful cheese and meat plates, salads and other "limited choice" delights that were too numerous to mention. All this served al fresco in a totally charming outdoor venue with some spectacular wines and service beyond compare. The experience was heavenly and gave us one of our fondest memories of our entire trip. Mille grazie Al Moraro!More
