We enjoyed a really delicious lunch from the daily specials board: beef cheeks and risotto ai funghi. Both were perfect. The wine suggestion was also excellent. A lovely atmosphere and great service.

The food is delicious beyond any reasonable expectation. The service is courteous and professional. A great experience.
I was really hopeful about this restaurant. Usually my Italian husband chooses where we eat out but I chose this place based on the good reviews and the interesting menu. However, the experience didn’t live up to my expectations. First of all, the prices are...quite high for small portions. Because the menu isn’t set out into starters/mains, it’s difficult to order the right amount of food. The food itself was fine but nothing special. The starter board (in the photo) was the best part. However, the tacos were quite greasy/saucy and the meat inside was definitely not the best. A small bottle of red beer was 5 euros, again quite high. We wanted to order a dessert but it wasn’t possible to flag anyone down to ask and nobody offered coffee/dessert etc so in the end we gave up. Overall, not bad but definitely won’t be going back.More
We are very sorry that your experience at the Oca Bianca da Ugo was not entirely positive, and we hope to have you again as guests to be able to make amends and make you enjoy the best experience. Kindly regard. Ugo
Holidaying in Italy for a couple of weeks, we visited the beautiful city of Vicenza and happened upon this lovely typical "osteria"! The food was great and we enjoyed some very good natural wines. Staff very welcoming and competent. I would definitely recommend!
Lives up to its name. I went specifically for bigoli with ragu di oca”—goose—instead I found only the suspicious menu turistico posted outside. Not a good sign usually, but the locals kept going in. So, I asked the owner and he said that they only...had a fixed menu for lunch, but would do it for me. Voila. The golden bigoli arrived, coated in the earthy goose ragu. Just enough fat, but none of the grease, to oil the chewy bigoli. Well worth asking. But the fixed menu looked quite good, actually.More
Had a great family dinner here. Started with the Goose appetizer which included goose ham, goose salami, and sliced goose. Really delicious. I had the roast goose secondi which included a leg and thigh with fried potatoes. The goose was cooked perfectly, tender and fell...off the bone. Rest of the family had non-goose dishes that were equally as good. Highly recommend this restaurant for local, well-prepared cooking. A reservation is a must. The seating is limited and they fill up for lunch and dinner quickly. Appears to be very popular with the locals.More
We ate a lot of goose meat and it was really good! Some was sliced thin and smoked, like ham. Then we had a roast goose leg. Excellent. The service was VERY good. The waiter was very helpful. This is a simple, local place and...they do not speak English well, but it all went well. Good value. Not,cheap, but quality!More
We were during the off-season there. Great food, nice and friendly staff, easy to find - GOOD wine from the area! Next time we'll come for sure again.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had in downtown Vicenza! The restaurant is on a quite street not far from the Basilica. The service was amazing - he was so kind and polite. The menu was amazing - we couldn't decide what...to get! There was about 7 different risottos to choose from and they all sounded wonderful - we changed our minds a few times but we got the amarone and zucca risotto and it was so delicious! Then we shared the duck with polenta and it was incredible! Being gluten free, it is so nice to have a lot fo options when we go out to eat and I felt like I could get whatever I wanted. We will definitely be back - we haven't stopped talking about this meal for about a week!More
It was a really nice stay at this little trattoria. We looked for something special not only the main tourist-restaurants and found the best!! Nice service, nice room, great ans cheap meal. Everybody should have visit this.
We stayed at this restaurant on a Saturday night and we sat outside. The service was very polite and the waiters kind. We took 1 tagliatelle all'oca, polenta e baccalà, accompanied by white wine. everything was very good. Recommended.
A wonderfully tasty menu and elegant atmosphere. The service is impeccable. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
5 star to the first course, 1 to the tagliata I had (not tender and with a strange taste).. 3 stars overall.
I was taken here for lunch by a friend and it was such good value we returned a few days later. Massimo runs a slick operation. Venue is modern, food generous, and crowds supportive (so book if you don't want to miss out. If there...is better value I haven't found it in 8 weeks in VenetoMore
I enjoyed really tastefull Italian pasta, liked it so much. Arrabiata et bolognese for sure. The white wine, a veneto area Sauvignon also very good choise. Didn't enjoy only the tagliata. Verdure was great but the meat so and so. Overall very good and excellent...price .GrazieMore
