Before dining at this fantastic restaurant be sure to enjoy an aperitivo at their Baccari next door. Lovely and charming place with a excellent choice of local and seasonal food. Typical Venetian plates with fresh fish and a superb wine list. Pricing like most Venetian...More

This wonderful restaurant is our Venice “go to”. Open for dinner and lunch, it never fails to delight. A diverse menu with local classics and exceptional tableside fresh fish presentations for two. The grilled tuna steak with rosemary is among the best we have enjoyed...More

Had a very good dinner at this small restaurant attached to a popular wine bar. The seafood risotto, wine, and service were all excellent. The prices seemed a bit high, but this was to be expected for the location. The bacaro next door was really...More

Da Fiori is deceptive - part of it is a lively bar for locals and the rest is high quality dining. So you must go for a drink and meatballs on one occasion. And, on another, go for a splendid meal, beautifully presented and served....More

The sea bass, scallop in pea purée and ravioli were very good although not particularly memorable. The service though was comically bad—we waited 15 minutes before offered a drink or our order was taken; I was brought the wrong entree; no one noticed my wine...More

Decent food but the staff should get back to some basic conventions of human conduct thus relinquishing their broadly displayed attitude of arrogant ignorance.

We went for dinner. Walked past in the morning as they were getting the fresh fish and vegetables delivered. Very good fresh food and good service, we will be going back on our next visit.

It's been a while when atmosphere in a restaurant outplays the food and service but this was the place for us during our 4 nights in Venice. Excellent food. Service was enhanced by waiters with a sense of humor but the most memorable part of...More

Ristorante Bacaro da Fiore in Venice is not a big place. It is local inn, nearly hidden few steps from the Santo Stefano Church. Restaurant is not cheapest and you will not get a lot of sitting space. Fiore has good, fresh seafood and friendly...More

You may fall upon Trattoria Da Fiore restaurant in Venice with cries of delight not only is it a charming, laid-back trattoria run by a native Venetian family, it is also incredibly affordable for this high-ticket city. Near Piazza San Marco, too, so its perfect for every kind of tourist or business noshing. A small, historic, charming spot with a separate space for those who wish to just nibble cichetti and drink a glass of wine, Trattoria Da Fiore has the beamed ceilings, warm plastered walls and dark wood seating and white table linens all typical of Venetian eateries. The menu is Italian and Sergio and his two children pay particular attention to the choice of wines. The house specialty is pennette da Fiore for two with olive oil, garlic and seven seasonal vegetables, though some swear by the zuppa di pesce alla chef brimming with just about everything that swims, perhaps followed by sgroppino al limone to finish. Youll find Trattoria Da Fiore full of both tourists and locals, and something of a triumph.
