A little off the touristy routes you will find a nice restaurant with excellent food at a reasonable price. All the food we had was very tasty and the bottle of wine we had was nice and also very well priced after searching it myself. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

If you love wine and you're in Venice, this is the place where to go. As the name says the bar is mostly dedicated to amarone wine, which is a local wine and one of the best Italian red wines. My favorites are Le Ragose and Monte Santoccio, if you try them I have no doubt they will be your favorites as well! Along with the wine you should try their platter of Valpolicella cheese and cold cuts, totally worth it.

We just stumbled into this nice restaurant by walking through the San Polo neighborhood. It was the perfect ending of a busy tourist day in Venice. The service team is very attentive and bending over backwards to make customers happy. They serve tasty local food and excellent wine from the Valpolicella region (north of Verona). If you love red’s give their Amarone a try. You will not regret it.

I ate both lunch and dinner here over 20 times on a 3 week trip - often both lunch and dinner on the same day. The wine selection contains very good quality wines primarily focues on the Veneto. The staff are very knowlegeble and would help select based on our feedback from previous wines we had tried. The food selection allowed us enough variety to eat here repeatedly without feeling like we were always having the same thing. This is now one of my favorite places to eat in Venice.

Renato was our server and he was fantastic! This small, family-owned restaurant makes you feel very warm from the moment you walk in. The food is made with love, and I must say, the lasagna is excellent. It reminds me of the food my grandmother made. Thank you for your hospitality while we were in Venice! It’s a little hard to find but use your maps and it will guide you there!

With a very good wine we enjoyed our cicchetti, the Burrata and the squid ink pasta; all dishes were phenomenal. The Wine selection seemed solid. the ambiente, music and Location of this wine bar all helped contribute to a very nice, and reasonably priced dinner in venice.

Myself and my boyfriend were in Venice for the day and happened to stubble across this restaurant down a quiet, cute street. The waiter was extremely friendly and had excellent knowledge of all the wines on their menu. The food was absolutely amazing, the nicest food I’ve had in a long, long time. I’m vegetarian and usually there aren’t many options for me but I was not disappointed! Bread was so fresh and warm and the wine tasted beautiful. Honestly made our day, we both left with full, satisfied stomachs. Staff 10/10 Food 12/10 I would highly recommend and we will be back!

Amazing Cicchetti. Amazing pasta!! Amazing wine. Amazing people!! Really recommended. We went with some friends and we had an amazing time. The owner is so friendly and nice. He suggested their best daily gnocchi with ragù all’amarone and they were deliziosi!!!

It is so difficult to find a place that’s worth the money in a city like Venice - full of restaurants that are open mainly for tourists, not caring if their guests will return (they are counting on them not returning). This place is NOTHING like that. The pizza is great, the pasta al nero di seppia was the best I had in venice, the guys that are working here are kind and attentive. After whole experience, you are actually glad you got to spend your money in a place like this. Grazie mille, ottimo lavoro ragazzi e continuate cosi! Alla prossima!

We found this restaurant in a small side street an a wet, chilly, Corona virus hit day in Venice. It was empty! We were warmly welcomed and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We had a simple meal with wine - which is the speciality of the venue. It was delicious. It is well worth finding this little place

We came here on our first night in Venice for dinner. We were made to feel very welcome and as a vegetarian I usually find it tricky to find meals abroad. My partner and I shared a mozzarella buffalo bruschetta to begin with, and then he had squid ink pasta and I had a mozzarella buffalo pizza. I have to say this pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The ingredients tasted so fresh and delicious. As a vegetarian I would recommend this restaurant as I usually find it hard to find many options for myself. Delicious!

Recommended by a friend in Milan, V all’Amarone was a great restaurant. It is small, so dinner reservations helped us get seated right away. Our server helped us pick some cichetti and we each has a spritz to start the evening. Since people watching is a part of travel, we observed everyone’s dishes as they were served and saw a beautiful caprese bruschetta which we ordered. Fantastic! Super fresh ingredients delicately assembled. This place is a great value in addition to great food and pleasant staff. 2 cichetti, Aperol spritz, Select Spritz, caprese bruschetta, gnocchi (these two dished were shared) two glasses of wine, and 2 desserts, tiramisu (made with no alcohol!)and semi- fredo, all for e73. Luckily we had a long walk back to our hotel near St Mark’s because we were very full.

Best meal of our stay - we had Cicchetti which were all delicious as well as cold cuts, cheese and tiramisu to finish. We also had the 5 tasting red wines which went really well with the food and was a great way to try 5 different Italian varieties. They came with dinner tasting notes which was helpful, and our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us some info on the wines of Italy.

and a glass of proseco. Besides de quality of the food the Cicchetti slice is thiner than usual, so it taste better. It is a very simple improvement for other Cicchetteries... Ask for a table outside because besides being a tiny and very nice is likely one of the least crowded streets in Venice. The Gnocchi in Amarone wine sauce were really incredibly taste, obviouly along with Amarone wine. By the way, when we arrive the couple in the table next to ours were smoking and the waiter without providing us any hint was proactive separating the both tables enough. Bravo!

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
