The restaurant is down the street from the famous Rialto open market. Chef Riccardo known as "Ricky" spends his early morning hours selecting only the best products, be it local line caught fish or even local grown vegetables from St. Erasmo island, creating dishes that reflect the smells and tastes of the lagoon. Our menu is a mix of typical Venetian dishes rethought and exquisite Italian cuisine. Only ingredients of the highest quality such as "Pasta felecetti" from Trento lcated at the feet of the Dolomite Alps, Matera bread baked in a wood oven (Basilicata Region), meat from Piedmont Region and of course, extra vergine olive oil-EVO from Tuscany. Our wines are chosen from a variety of regions that enhance the food choices of the moment.
We stumbled across this place on trip advisor and it was excellent. Wonderful Italian food and great service. Also very handy that you can book online, saves a lot of walking around! Best scallops I’ve ever had.
Being sat in the corner of an alleyway didn’t fill me with hope, neither did the emotionless waiter. However I soon changed my mind, especially after I set light to the menu then proceeded to throw my cutlery on the floor 😀. Everybody had a...More
We were looking for something low keyed and decided to try the little restaurant 100 meters from our apartment. I had the mixed shelled seafood and my wife the spaghetti with crab. Our daughter had a breaded fish filet. We shared bottle of white wine...More
My wife and I returned to this same place after 20 years, now called “Antico Pizzo Risorto”. Now under new ownership since 2012, it is legitimately Italian food with solid wine selection and pricing. Everything we had was fantastic and the service was solid.
We ate dinner here last night. The restaurant itself is very cute with friendly servers. We are vegetarians, and we mentioned that- we ordered fried mozzarella - on the menu it simply states fried mozzarella - it has anchovy in it. My family is strict...More

Booked online for 6pm. Short stroll from Rialto bridge but completely tucked away from the crowds down a little alley. They have a fixed 3 course menu for 28 euros and a really interesting vegetarian option for 24 euros. The chef recommended wine which was...More
Our first night in Venice and we fancied something authentic a little off the beaten track. Came across this fabulous restaurant, perfect little table outside, amazing food (caprese salad, seafood pasta and the tagliatelle beef ragu), service was spot on, a lovely Spumante! Would highly...More
This place is off the beaten path and was the best meal we had in Venice. The pasta is great. I had the meat lasagna and my wife had the tagliatelle with scallops and pumpkin and black truffle. The server recommended a great ripasso. It...More
Simply amazing food. You can taste the love used in preparing the meal with every bite. The staff were warm and very helpful. They took very good care of our gluten and dairy allergies (crab pasta was gf df).
