The location of this restaurant is Cannaregio is very suggestive. Food and service are pretty good, even if most probably the price range is a bit too high when compared with other restaurant. Indicated for a romantic dinner, outside if the weather conditions allow it.

Recommended to us, we went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The place was booked up and we were offered an outside table. Unfortunately near an outdoor bar with a table of very noisey cigar smokers. We asked if we could move and they found...More

With this Aqua Alta day, we hesitated to go out during the evening, having almost 1,5m of water outside. Due to the very good reviews of the restaurant, we decided to try it. Food is overpriced as in most of venician restaurants but food was...More

We visited as a last minute choice given the location was just around the corner of our apartment. If you like all things seafood then you'll be happy but otherwise a limited menu. The Gran Frutti was a good selection of calamari, prawns, Octopus and...More

We LOVE this place. Located in the quiet Cannaregio section of Venice in sits in a quiet neighborhood. The Osteria is quiet and lovely inside but they put a dozen or so tables out in the neighboring square at night where you sit between two...More

Luckily we visited the restaurant on a good weather evening as we hadn’t booked. Most people opted to eat in the square so we were able to get a table inside. So if you really want to give it a try then ring ahead. It’s...More

food was fine but nothing special and was overpriced for what you got. prawn pasta (approx €16) had only 6 prawns. fried seafood and veg didn't even come with lemon. had much better quality food and better value elsewhere in Venice.

My family and I (7 people in total) visited this restaurant for dinner and had a great time. The waiters and cook are very nice and the quality of the food is exceptional. The price is very good for the quality they deliver. Suggested to...More

Just walked by this place on an early Sunday afternoon, looked good, the staff was eating its lunch, but one of the waiters took our reservation for an hour later. The food was very good especially for Venice where we have never been impressed by...More

We walked by this place in the daylight and it didn't seem like anything to write home about. Came back for dinner and the area was transformed: the little square outside the restaurant, next to the Ponte dei Gesuiti, was set with candle-lit dining tables....More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
