A very small but cosy place, that you should visit for sure! The only problem was the prices for the wines, even there were local ones, it was just too high (30 euros for a bottle), the house’ wine was not the best at all,...More

Local food in casual, authentic surroundings. Service was excellent, especially with our 2 year old and 6 yr old children. Usually very busy so get there early.

This charming, little, family-managed restaurant has undisputably earned its 5 star rating and lives up to exspectations. Although we arrived at 7 PM sharp on a Tuesday, every table in the venue was already either taken or reserved. But the owner instructed her lovely daughter...More

Exactly what Italian cooking is all about: amazing taste and simplicity. The home-made spinach ravioli were somptuous. Excellent and friendly service. Low prices. Too bad it's closed tomorrow, we would have come back. Recommended without hesitation. Try a table outside for an even more special...More

Just a very nice cosy place in Meran. Food selection is simple but really good. Very friendly people. Looks like they love their job....

No nonsense, good Italian cooking pulls this place along. The ambiance is nice, with a bar seating area, a dining room, and outside, street side tables. Staff is gruffly helpful, though English is very limited. Simple wine list — the Pinot Negro was fine. Spinach-stuffed...More

Definitely up there with the most unfriendly places we have ever been. Woman could barely bring herself to acknowledge us (I get the impression we would have been made more welcome if we were Italian or German). Dark and dingy. Food average at best.

We were stopping in Merano for lunch whilst driving through the area. I had noticed the restaurant on Tripadvisor the day before and noted that the outside is quite unassuming. Luckily, I recognised it as we went past! The waitress (I assume Sabina) was very...More

We really wanted to try the tyrolien dumplings and were not disappointed. The texture was fantastic, light and creamy, melt in your mouth. Get there early, at 6:50 there were already seating guests - the tiny place was quickly filled after opening.

Hello In the menu there is notting about gluten free - it is a very traditional Italian place. But the owner is very nice and offered to cook outside the menu - so perhaps you can work it out with her. Be prepared for a... More
