This was our second visit to a restaurant we loved on a previous trip. We come here for the Carbonara which is arguably the best in Rome. We started by splitting a Roman artichoke which was delicious. Loved the Carbonara as usual, very rich but...More

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend on our last night in Rome, left very disappointed. The carbonara here was the most horrible dish that I have tasted in a while. The egg was raw, bacon was like a piece of burned foam, and cheese...More

I come to Rome regularly and have tried for years to get into this place (I think many restaurants don't like to do a table for 1. Today was my lucky day. I had delicious food here, with very charming old world service...try ...the warm...More

A large and easy to find Trattoria in the Via Marmorata. Frequented mainly by locals which makes it a good choice for tourists like us to be guaranteed good local food. By comparison to some other similar restaurants this one had a quiet and relaxing...More

You won't go wrong at Perilli- the food is good and service is fine. Prices are ok. It's busy and pleasant. But...like so many things that are 'safe' it seems like a bit of let down when there is so much really great food within...More

The Title of the review kind of explains it all. It goes without saying that “Italian Style” is a very big box... so let’s refine it a bit. This is a classical old style place... you could very well think you are in the 80’s...More

I really enjoyed going to Perilli for dinner and enjoyed the experience more this year than on our last visit. It's a great place to people watch-- mostly locals eating dinner. Like most restuarants in Rome, it's important to make a reservation first. Our meals...More

Our hotel recommend this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We dined there two nights and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Make a reservation and find out for yourself what has kept this place in business since 1911.

We were staying in Testaccio and the Trattoria Perilli was close to our apartment. The trip advisor reviews were excellent so we went there. The Perilli is known for their carbonara pasta so of course I had to try it. It was spectacular! My wife...More

Great experience from start to finish! Best Carbonara there is - perfect combination of cheese, butter, pancetta, egg ...! Our dinner guest shared the same last name as the restaurant. We introduced ourselves to the owner who was so warm and cordial. We'll be back!

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class
neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost
every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
hit, the area is full of locally owned small
