We first dined here happily 10 years ago and were excited to return, with some of the same family. We were so eager not to miss eating here, we had to book our table the evening of our arrival from overseas, as our stopover in...Rome was brief, and this was the only open night. The effort was entirely worth it, as we, once again, enjoyed a marvelous foodie, 5 course tasting experience, with superb wine selected for us and impeccable service. Our daughter had also eaten here in 2019 and felt then, as now, the food was as good as, if not better than ever. We are amazed and grateful that this dedicated fine dining establishment could emerge from the pandemic as if nothing had changed. We enjoyed the same quiet room, the same efficient and attentive service, and an utterly delightful selection of food presentations. The magic of ingredients, portions, and fine wine never overwhelmed, only delighted.More

The beautiful restaurant with a Michelin star can be found in a small side street in a central city area. Staff is immediately very helpful and kind. Wine card has extensive selection and great quality. Waiting is at very high standards and quick. Prices are...as expected from Michelin restaurants. Tables are having good privacy and enough space in between. Reservation is obviously needed, but we had luck with relative short notice period ahead.More

More than a dinner this was a work of art from start to finish. The dishes were not only beautifully presented, well portioned and tasted exquisite, they were unique and a feast on the eye as much as on the palate. From the edible sculpture...hanging over our table down to the last dessert (we had the 7 course tasting menu) - I felt as though I was in an edible art gallery and was allowed to not only touch but eat a Picasso, a Van Gogh, a Matisse, a Rembrandt etc etc. The service was outstanding with all dishes explained in detail, professional yet friendly.. a memorable experience that will never be forgotten. We have become used to excellent food and service in most countries now, but this is another level and excellent value for money for the most discerning of foodies. If you want a complete experience, a must.More

Went there 24th of December, 2019. What a delicious dinner. The service was just perfect and the food was a blend of flavors and textures. Everything was perfectly balanced. A must go, if you are in Rome.

My wife and I visited for my birthday and while not cheap, the experience matched the cost on every level. We eschewed the tasting experience and went a la carte, which offers a broader range of dishes. Every single dish was superb, and the accompanying...food ‘Theatre’ (their version of KFC with the pigeon for example) was subtle and humorous. I know the expectation is that a Michelin star will automatically deliver a great dining experience, but having visited a fair few we know it’s not always the case. It is here, dive in and relish the evening, we loved every minute! One nice touch, I know my French wines but am not so good at Italian, so I asked for help. This can be a fraught experience with an expensive wine list, but here we were offered three bottles that suited the dishes, with differing price levels, allowing me to decide which level of expense I was opting for without being pushed upwards in price.....small, but noticeable, positive way of doing business. Highly recommendedMore

The New Year's dinner did not worth the money at all (500$/person average). The food was not fancy, exciting, or as tasty. Would never repeat this experience.

It’s been severai years since my wife and I had the chance to dine here and our return was a smash! They have redone the venue so it is more open and elegant. The service was outstanding and if anything the chef has gotten better....The presentation is very good and the quality of the meal cannot be faulted. All in all, terrific evening and this restaurant should be on your must list.More

While an interesting experience, this restaurant tries too hard and I left hungry. The room is lovely and beautifully set. I'm alright with high concept, intellectual food as long as it's satisfying and tastes good. Only some of the dishes worked - the prawn pasta...with fresh mint was delicious as was the turbot (though the potatoes were cold, intentional or not?). The lamb disappointed - it smoke-cooked in front of me but had little flavor and lamb sweetbreads don't taste as good as cow's. I didn't try the lamb tartare taco, not my thing. The zucchini fritters were good but why was the sauce cold again. The pear/hazelnut tart was disappointing. They have ZERO options for non-drinkers (it's regular Coke, Fanta or water). The waitstaff are so eager to please they are running around frenetically, which is a bit unsettling. All in all, just OK.More
