Great food. Great experience. Food portions were right and balanced. We were able to eat from appetizer to desserts without feeling full. Staff was gentle and punctual. Food was very tasty and delicate. Quality / price is excellent Strong Michelin star!

Went there 24th of December, 2019. What a delicious dinner. The service was just perfect and the food was a blend of flavors and textures. Everything was perfectly balanced. A must go, if you are in Rome.

My wife and I visited for my birthday and while not cheap, the experience matched the cost on every level. We eschewed the tasting experience and went a la carte, which offers a broader range of dishes. Every single dish was superb, and the accompanying...food ‘Theatre’ (their version of KFC with the pigeon for example) was subtle and humorous. I know the expectation is that a Michelin star will automatically deliver a great dining experience, but having visited a fair few we know it’s not always the case. It is here, dive in and relish the evening, we loved every minute! One nice touch, I know my French wines but am not so good at Italian, so I asked for help. This can be a fraught experience with an expensive wine list, but here we were offered three bottles that suited the dishes, with differing price levels, allowing me to decide which level of expense I was opting for without being pushed upwards in price.....small, but noticeable, positive way of doing business. The New Year's dinner did not worth the money at all (500$/person average). The food was not fancy, exciting, or as tasty. Would never repeat this experience.

It’s been severai years since my wife and I had the chance to dine here and our return was a smash! They have redone the venue so it is more open and elegant. The service was outstanding and if anything the chef has gotten better....The presentation is very good and the quality of the meal cannot be faulted. All in all, terrific evening and this restaurant should be on your must list.More

We had our dinner at Il Convivio Troiani and was a unique experience! Atmosphere excellent, the service and friendliness of the staff as well. The plates have been characterized by creativity and balanced flavors. We highly recommend to all they want to explore something different!!

While an interesting experience, this restaurant tries too hard and I left hungry. The room is lovely and beautifully set. I'm alright with high concept, intellectual food as long as it's satisfying and tastes good. Only some of the dishes worked - the prawn pasta...with fresh mint was delicious as was the turbot (though the potatoes were cold, intentional or not?). The lamb disappointed - it smoke-cooked in front of me but had little flavor and lamb sweetbreads don't taste as good as cow's. I didn't try the lamb tartare taco, not my thing. The zucchini fritters were good but why was the sauce cold again. The pear/hazelnut tart was disappointing. They have ZERO options for non-drinkers (it's regular Coke, Fanta or water). The waitstaff are so eager to please they are running around frenetically, which is a bit unsettling. All in all, just OK.More
