Outdoors lunch in a super hot day, luckily the terrace is in the shade and fairly fresh (trick: there is a Roman Nasone fountain at few meters with the chillest of the water). One pasta a la Matrezzana and one Caccio e Pepe, both awesome....The place offers some quite priced wines, but wine of the house is an excellent option for less gorgeous economies. Cofee and tiramisú also delicious. Service attentive and friendly, English spoken but they appreciated our efforts when practicing our Italian rudiments. A great place equally for a price-contained tourism day meal or (my gess) a romantic evening dinner. We'll repeat!More

Liked the look of this place because it was away from the tourist scrum of the Campo and menu looked interesting (and only in Italian). We were not disappointed. Service was attentive, great wine list and delicious dishes. We had the fettuccine with the boar...sauce, chicken and saltimbocca, all were excellent, as were the starters (Roman artichokes were fabulous). Very laid back, good vibe and filled up quickly with locals -always a good sign. The waiters were delightful even with our limited Italian. A real find.More

We recently spent two months in an apartment on the Campo, 100 yard from Verso Sera, and had the opportunity to visit for dinner a number of times. Great place for casual dining, somewhat removed from the tourist scrum on the piazza itself. Some of...the pastas, plus the eggplant Parmesan, are real standouts. Uniformly friendly service from young waitstaff; great selection of wines by the glass. Cozy place to linger.More

We walked in and we were told that there were no seats even though we had a reservation. The server basically ignored us the entire time. They were setting up for New Years... well, we were there too, so why did you not make us...feel welcome and at home. They forgot my son’s meatballs, never apologized... we should have gone elsewhere..More

Terrible food and terrible service. We found four hairs in the overcooked and bland dishes. The service was also horrible. The waitress and head waiter ignored us the entire night and forgot to serve two dishes that we ordered. Don’t go to this restaurant.

We had the lasagna and ravioli. Both were delicious. We had a great bottle of wine from a large selection. We finished the meal by sharing the best tiramisu I’ve ever eaten. Service was very slow.

I decided to try this restaurant because they had fettuccini porcini on the menu, written on a chalkboard. It’s located just next to Campo di Fiori by the tiny Piazza del Biscione but it was no tourist trap. My pasta was absolutely delicious with very...generously portioned fresh porcini. Pasta and beer were 20 €. A few days later I decided to eat in Verso Sera again. I ordered roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables (that included grilled cabbage which is one of my favourites) and they were so tasty. Here they know how to prepare their veggies. For dessert I had a cappuccino and chocolate cake with whipped cream. Mmmm. Total bill including water, beer and bread was 32 €. An extra shoutout to their toilet facilities downstairs – what a pretty restroom, wow! Both times I sat outside at the terrace and it’s a great spot for people watching.More

Visited a number of restaurants in area and this was the best. Good space for seating but also cozy, old world feel. Waiter's wine recommendation was excellent. Pasta, salad and steak excellent. Fettuccine with Boar Sauce excellent recommendation for one who normally avoids meat. Loved...it. Value for what we paid was excellent. Wish Verso Sera were located in our city.More

Visited twice, once in the afternoon when everything was really nice. Second time was for dinner, food was good, service was awful. Felt not welcomed at all. Arrogant young waiter.

Great local restaurant just outside our hotel - the service here was fantastic and the food even better. Great local wine list and charming location in a small square just off Campo De Fiori - a much larger and active square.
