Located in a quiet square right off the Campo de' Fiori, Verso Sera is a restaurant I'd enjoyed on my last visit to Rome in 2015. Back with my husband recently, we enjoyed our dinner there so much, we came back the next night! The...food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the staff is super nice, with just the right amount of attentiveness. The Verso Sera salad (arugula, prosciutto, shaved Parmesan, pomegranate seeds, walnuts) was so good we had it twice. The Cacio e Pepe was, likewise, fabulous, cooked perfectly al dente. We also enjoyed bruschetta, sautéed artichokes, stuffed zucchini blossoms, and a great house red. Portions are so large, two people can easily share them, making it easy to try a lot of choices. Special thanks to our wonderful servers, Ariful, Michele, and Danilo. We look forward to coming back!More

Very good food in a quiet place of Campo di Fiori. We had both lunch and dinner there and it was nice. Want to come back soon again!

Lovely, fresh food and delicious vines. Pleasant staff. Visited the place in 2018, 2019 and 2021 and always return when we visit Rome. Lovely spot next to Campo di Fiori

Came here for dinner and there is a lovely outdoor eating area tucked away from the city sounds. We ordered bruschetta, an ensalada mista and fettucine with wild boar. Everything was AMAZING!! And we divided everything and it was just enough. It was so good...we came back for lunch the next day and ordered the exact same thing :). Great service, great good, very nice atmosphere. Winner!!More

The worst experience in Roma. The place is nice but its a trap. The service here is a catastrophy. We’ve ordered a plate of prosciutto and dibuffala - it was really small for 12 EUR - totally NOT worth the price + we had to...ask for bread and olive. Aperol and Limoncello spritz - totaly watered not feeling any alcohol and taste inside. For drinks and appetizer we’ve waited arround 40mins which is a scandal where you usually wait 20 mins for a main dish. What a disaster.More

We were able to select our table outside and were greeted kind of friendly. Both waiters were okay, but we did not really feel absolutely welcome. It cannot be so hard to act absolutely friedly as a host to your guests - if that is...not what you want, then choose a different job... However, the food was really tasty, came in reasonble time and the wine was good as well. After showing our "The Firk" reservation the 20 % off were given instantly. Not a bad place to go to...More

Outdoors lunch in a super hot day, luckily the terrace is in the shade and fairly fresh (trick: there is a Roman Nasone fountain at few meters with the chillest of the water). One pasta a la Matrezzana and one Caccio e Pepe, both awesome....The place offers some quite priced wines, but wine of the house is an excellent option for less gorgeous economies. Cofee and tiramisú also delicious. Service attentive and friendly, English spoken but they appreciated our efforts when practicing our Italian rudiments. A great place equally for a price-contained tourism day meal or (my gess) a romantic evening dinner. We'll repeat!More

Liked the look of this place because it was away from the tourist scrum of the Campo and menu looked interesting (and only in Italian). We were not disappointed. Service was attentive, great wine list and delicious dishes. We had the fettuccine with the boar...sauce, chicken and saltimbocca, all were excellent, as were the starters (Roman artichokes were fabulous). Very laid back, good vibe and filled up quickly with locals -always a good sign. The waiters were delightful even with our limited Italian. A real find.More

We recently spent two months in an apartment on the Campo, 100 yard from Verso Sera, and had the opportunity to visit for dinner a number of times. Great place for casual dining, somewhat removed from the tourist scrum on the piazza itself. Some of...the pastas, plus the eggplant Parmesan, are real standouts. Uniformly friendly service from young waitstaff; great selection of wines by the glass. Cozy place to linger.More

We walked in and we were told that there were no seats even though we had a reservation. The server basically ignored us the entire time. They were setting up for New Years... well, we were there too, so why did you not make us...feel welcome and at home. They forgot my son’s meatballs, never apologized... we should have gone elsewhere..More
