This place is really interesting. Off the beaten track you will find a jewel with excellent quality price ratio if you want to eat fish as made in Neapolitan homes. The location is cute although the surroundings around the port should not put you off. Don’t worry that once you’re in you’ll live it. Wines are also good. Portions abundant. Staff (the family) are all kind and helpful.
Un consiglio costruttivo: lo spaghetto a vongole forse erano troppo oleose - c’era uno sbilanciamento tra il sughetto delle vongole e l’olio. Pesce delizioso. Antipasti pure. Complimenti alla famiglia! Continuate cosi.

We wandered in to this crisp little ultra-fresh seafood joint near the wharf in Naples where catches of the day were prominently displayed. We were the first guests and the wait-staff was friendly and attentive, and really hustled even before after tables filled with single diners, a couple or two and a few groups.
The fried shrimp and calamari Secondi looked so wonderful that I ordered it for the table as an appetizer! No lemon slices here to squeeze, they provided three quarters of a lemon. It was remarkably good, perfectly fried and lightly breaded and cooked just right and was served with Lupini-an unusual and to my my mind, kicky touch.
I had a red and green tomato salad with a very good ball of creamy mozarella and basil that wasn’t a standard Caprese Salad and like the cheese it too exploded with flavors.
Although I never do this, I had the seafood Risotto and it was ace! Officially: Risotto alla Pescatora it was seriously crushing. The octopus was delicate: meltably tender and the few shrimp made me want more, but although I enjoyed the mussels, the small clams truly won the day!
The complimentary dark chocolate was enough dessert for me in the heat! This is sad, but had to be.
So a bustling and attentive staff, nice wine and good conversation made for a serendipitous and delicious Neopolitan meal! Buon Gusto.

We had excellent creative seafood dishes for a very reasonable price and efficient friendly service. The grilled octopus was excellent, and the potato flan it was on was even better. The mozzarella di bufala was good and served with a large helping of outstanding tomatoes. The fish risotto was rich and wonderful (maybe too rich and copious for some, but I really liked it!) The pasta of the day was monkfish with a rich olive oil based tomato sauce. Great flavor for the fish (although it was mostly bone) and again, great tomatoes. No room for dessert, but they looked quite interesting.

This restaurant exceeded expectation by a mile in every aspect. The service was extremely attentive and professional from Alberto & Vinchenso, huge thanks to their contribution to a fantastic evening. The food was extremely delicious and of a high standard, great value too. Would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could.

Being there with some friends (group of 9) - the restaurant is located near the harbor (very quite with no special view). But both the food and the service were excellent. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a very good Mediterranean Italian food

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Like other people have mentioned - dont let the location put you off. The food and service is great, some of the best we have had in Italy. It is also affordable. We ordered appetizers, mains and 1 shared dessert + 2 glasses of wine for 54euro. Go here, you won't regret it.

A person at the maritime building recommended this place, and the minute I stepped inside, I was happy! The place is bustling with energy and Neapolitans who are repeat customers. How do I know this, they were served items that were not on the menu. When I asked the waiter, he said they would make anything I wanted whether on or off the menu! The freshest of salads and perfect pasta. I didn't have room for the fish which is the obvious specialty. This restaurant made my long wait for the ferry worth while.

Had booked online and was expected and warmly welcomed with an appetiser of some bread, cheese and a mini Prosecco, a nice touch.
Always prefer a more limited menu as it shows what is to be cooked is fresh rather than an overly long list of potential items with dubious freshness.
Our host helped me graciously with my shabby Italian and we discussed the right amount to order. We shared the fabulous octopus to start followed by a deliciously grilled and enough-for-two Sea Bass. Local Neapolitan white wine was up to the job and outrageous value for money. Shared a tasty tiramisu to finish.
All in all great food, service and value, highly recommended.
Ps don’t fuss about its location it’s fine.

The fish was fresh and the service was amazing. They had the best wine not to mention the ambiance and location of the restaurant. The price was also affordable. I recommend the restaurant.

If you are looking for something with traditional simple dishes, you got it!
We had a lovely meal here, the gnocchi were homemade and the sauce was delicious, good service..they really look after you! Recommend!!

The service is really friendly and we found out that they have life music: Italian romantic classics. The sea food is really fresh and we were really surprised with the quality. I ordered pacceri a la pescatore and it was delicious. Totally recommended! We had a very lovely time.

Totally amazing local restaurant. no tourist. We thought we went wrong as we entered the port. The pasta really amazing. Really cheap prices. We are use to the best and I can truly recommend this place. Great service . Just try it
