We visited this place near the Duomo and shared a bottle of Primitivo. The owner provided some complimentary snacks ( quite usual in Naples) but when the bill came we were massively overcharged - 50 euros !! We felt this was just taking advantage of...More

Just ate at l’enoteca del grottino - we got ripped off quite badly. The manager / owner wouldn’t provide any sort of list or prices, just brings you what he thinks - which is a bit annoying - and tbh - the wine we had...More

My husband and 3 kids (youngest 16) went here on the last night of our holiday, not really being sure of what to expect. We followed the owner's (a very funny and charming character) recommendations and the food was exceptional. As it is a wine...More

We chanced upon this enoteca on one of our walks in the historic centre and decided to visit it for an evening wine-tasting-with-some-food. We let the charming host propose the wines which we got by the glass to increase diversity (one white, three red in...More

We stumbled upon Antonio’s wonderful Osteria on our first day in Napoli and were immediately taken by its charm. On our final night we visited Antonio’s and had the most amazing time. Despite Antonio knowing very little English and our haphazard attempts at phrase book...More

We came across L'Enoteca del Grottino by chance whilst walking the streets of Napoli. It has a good variety of goodies, meals and drinks, but a bit expensive for us. Good location and very busy.

Found this establishment by chance whilst roaming the streets of Naples, what a find!!! Antonio the proprietor couldn't have been more helpful, and suggested a menu for our meal which was first class, complimented by his excellent wines. Would highly recommend you try it.

We also stumbled upon this little secret after our visit to the Duomo. Antonio greeted us warmly and invited us to look inside the enormous collection of wine and digestivos. The cave is a perfect location for an intimate dinner amidst the old vintages. We...More
