8 tables , white walls and white tablecloth. Amazing food and options. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. Try the Sepia and the spaghetti with anchovies. The pasticioto desert was one of the best we ever had.

Situated on a small side street off the main shopping area (Il Corso) we decided to try out this Italian Osteria. Our mains, seconds & desserts were all incredibly tasty and served to perfection. The place felt cosy and rustic and the service was good....More

Osteria del Taglio is situated on a small side street. It is in a basement so it's easy to pass by this lovely restaurant. It appears to be newly renovated and very cheerful. They have a very nice menu, including a three course chef's menu,...More

All I can say is go to this restaurant if you like fine food and you are in Salerno . The courgette and shrimp soup was to die for, the seared tuna sublime and all the deserts we had were fab. A few minor seasoning...More

Good sea food restaurant. No soft drinks served. Friendly staff. Food well presented. Quite pricey. The artisan beer is sold in 75cl bottles and is expensive at 18 Euros per bottle. Great ambiance and service.

After wandering around the streets, the restaurant that Trip Advisor posted as now open, is indeed closed on Monday. How fortunate for us because instead we wound up having our dinner at this wonderful Osteria. Bright and contemporary which was great as it's downstairs location...More

We arrived quite late at the restaurant on our first night in Salerno without booking. The menu is small but creative. The bread served before the meal tasted great! We had a tasty pasta and cod fish as mains, and ended with a semifreddo for...More

Salerno is beautiful city with its own strong culinary tradition, in every house, every day of the week you can have a great meal. Unfortunately the local restaurant scene is totally disappointing, except for pizza parlours and other basic street food places. The recently opened...More
