We visited Amparo the day after having visited Casa Efigenia. Personally I enjoyed the meat dishes, in particular the Cabra (delicious!) and the tuna with mojo. The service was fantastic (so much better than at Efigenia). And the price was very similar to Efigenia (however we had meat dishes here) and I don’t understand why Amparo is rated as $$-$$$, whereas Efigenia is rather $... Amparo is not more expensive than Efigenia.

Splendid tapas

Wonderful tapas lunch with friends. We ate cheese with honey, garlic prawns, croquettes and squid. Every mouthful was spectacular. We couldn’t believe how reasonable it was when the bill arrived. Service from Jose was very efficient friendly and fun. We’ll be back! Muchas gracias!

A great surprise

I went last weekend with some friends. We loved the place, the terrace with views and the good treatment of the waiters. The food is very good. Delicious octopus and a very good portion. They had run out of pork license so we will try it again. The weather was very good and when we finished we were able to have a drink at the outside tables accompanied by good music. We were also very surprised by the bill, considering the quality and quantity of the food.

The food was normal, the atmosphere was terrible, I had to eat with very loud music, the diners were very loud, I couldn't hear my partner next to me. I also had to eat with a dog at my side, I didn't know that dogs have access to restaurants. Some foreigners (Germans) couldn't finish because of how uncomfortable it was there. The final surprise came when they gave me the bill, they charged me 2 euros for the service, I don't know if I had to serve myself, and apart from the igic that is included in each dish they charged me another igic. In short, there are places on La Gomera that always continue to surprise you for 50 years and things on this island are always the same.

I had never been there although it had been recommended to me on some occasions, the food is typical quality Canarian food. In our case we ate watercress stew with gofio and onion, boiled mojo tuna with sweet potatoes and some excellent homemade desserts, roasted milk and fragollo. Pretty good food at a very good price 57 euros for 3 people with 1/4 white wine, 1/4 red, a bottle of water and 2 beers. The panoramic view from the terrace is extraordinary with an orchard in sight. Regarding the service, it is willing but quite slow although at all times they try to please the client and compensate them with a good attitude. I would put some more waiters, at least on holidays and weekends. In any case, it is a place to visit whenever you have the opportunity. The quality of the food is excellent.

We went to eat several friends, the treatment was unbeatable, typical food, homemade and delicious, very good prices and magnificent views. The waiters were attentive the whole time that we were not missing anything, and they took little time to bring everything. The food was delicious. Seeing recent reports we expected a great lunch, but it was average. Salad was good, roasted cheese was tasteless and tuna in local red mojo sauce was disappointing - not as fresh as you usually get in these parts. There are excellent views from the terrace and the service was efficient, but overall it was a bit disappointing.

Delicious typical food at the doors of Garajonay

Great food after a route through Garajonay. Delicious food, typical of La Gomera. Watercress stew, chickpeas, grilled cheese, palm honey, goat meat,… The staff's attention is perfect. We stayed 3 nights in La Gomera and had dinner 2 times at this restaurant. Very close treatment and good food. Good value for money. Jose, the waiter who served us, was very attentive and kind, especially with the girl, in addition to recommending good dishes. Place that we will repeat if we return to La Gomera.

We loved visiting this restaurant. We went because we met Gerardo and he told us about his restaurant. The family treatment was fantastic and we had a cheese board for dinner, scrambled eggs and a pork rib that was soooorrrmeee and delicious (in the photo it is missing a good piece, I forgot to take the photo before) Thank you so much for the experience!

Is more typical food but is really nice and taste. The food is pretty good and the plates are big! The staff were friendly even though they were pretty busy because was on Sunday, I recommend to do a reservation by phone. The dessert Polvito Uruguayo, OMG! Amazing

We went for dinner after a long trip from El Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife. We took it from the comments on Trypadvisor. And it does not disappoint, typical Canarian food and good Gomero wine. Excellent and very hearty garbanzas Pork side HUGE and home fries Goat stew at the top that I could not finish me who is a very heavy eater. + Quarter of wine + 2 glasses of excellent sangria + Baraquito and licked Buttered bread 47€ a 2.
