We had a dinner here for Halloween night with friends and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and fantastic vibes with DJ. The food is delicious and their ice cream is definitely must-try. The prices are a little bit higher than in other restaurants in Madrid,...More

A pleasant and fantastic surprise. A feast in so many ways...the food, the service, the restaurant itself. It was a dichotomy of asian dishes with local spanish flavours and charm. The quality of the produce was evident in the crispiness of our dishes and the...More

The good: Having been just recently to Canalla Bistro in Valencia where I was blown away by the creative and very tasteful menu I had high hopes for the visit to the restaurant bearing the same name by the same chef. The food was good...More

The vibe was fantastic, particularly with the DJ pumping out the 1980’s tracks. The food was good but not fabulous, especially for the price. €150 for a family of four with no alcohol

Having visited the better market food stall in Madrid the day before, my wife and I ventured North to Platea, a large shopping mall a short walk north of El Retiro Park. Brits may not expect to find a good food service place inside a...More

Visited the restaurant a few nights ago - great selection of dishes, although starters are small portions. Would recommend the Korean entrecôte! Overall great experience at Platea!

If you want to host a BIG function and have small bites served this is a great venue, for dining I would stay away since there are quieter, cheaper and better options around.More

It certainly has an impressive interior. As you'd expect from a building that was fornerly a cinema. You look down two floors to other diners. A DJ spins records on the stage and later a pianist. Good ambience. We started with the prawn gyoza and...More

Platea is fantastic and fun, no need to go upstairs and be ignored by the host staff at Canalla. Food so-so, table service ok, but there is no excuse for treating visitors to Madrid so discourteously. Michelin may not care but my guess is you...More
