We were very lucky to get a table without waiting. Lots of choice and great recommendations from the waiters. The fish and seafood were so fresh and tasted delicious. Don't be put off by any queues as it is worth the wait. Very convenient for...the centre.More

It was so good, we ate here twice! Must try are their grilled baby cuttlefish, so savory, moist and tender! their fried crispy fresh anchovies and stripped steaks. Good ambience and service. Good value for money.

This was our third visit to La Flauta, exceptionally good value for money, excellent food and quick service. They are happy to let you stay and enjoy at your own pace. We did have to queue for quite a while each time but it is...definitely worth the wait. Open very late!More

A lot of good food in nice location. Easy and quite cheap is a great location to eat. The only issue is always full and you need to wait. Excellent

On our first night in Barcelona, we wanted a meal out not too far from the hotel, so asked at reception for some ideas. We're generally fairly sceptical of hotel recommendations, but decided to give this one a go. This was a good decision. It...quiet (it was a Monday evening to be fair) but this did not detract from the quality of the restaurant. The tapas was of good quality and we really enjoyed our evening here. We shared various dishes which increased the number of things we could try. We're sure that if this restaurant was centrally located it would be far busier.More

Just 3 minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya and yet this is not your typical touristy tapas bar. There are few tourists, they cater mostly to people living or working in the Eixample area. We were taken there by a local. They serve tapas revisited,...a sort of modern version of tapas, with unusual ingredients and combinations and more in a restaurant style. They make them by order but are still very fast. Very tasty and excellent value for money.More

Met a colleague for dinner. This was his suggestion as he lived in Barcelona for 3 years. This is one of the best Tapas places I've ever been. It's nice but no frills. The food is excellent as is the atmosphere. Traditional decor. This is...where the locals eat as it's somewhat away from the tourist areas where there's so much average tapas available. They also do Mediterranean food which looked good from what I could see. So basically if you are looking for something authentic this is the place to try. I will definitely return one dayMore

Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes

Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
