On our last night in San Sebastian, we had 3 restaurants listed to eat at, unfortunately San Sebastian is almost closed on a Tuesday night, & this place was no 5 on our list, but we were pleasantly surprised.
The place is a bit rough around the edges, as are the old(ish) couple serving us, I think they were running this place when Christopher Columbus landed!!.
But we had a very enjoyable meal with good service at a reasonable price.
Would be happy to return.

We happened upon this place when others were closed for a local holiday. The food was definitely local spanish! Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to be welcoming (might be difficult if you don’t speak Spanish though). Limited choice of wine. Very cheap night!

we had dinner on our first night in La Gomera. and had a very enjoyable time. The staff were friendly and fun and helped us with recommendations. The menu is extensive and varied. Everyone really liked their meal and had a good time.

This is a truly local restaurant, everything we ordered was locally provided and cooked fresh. We really enjoyed our meal and the friendly service provided. The cost was extremely competitive compared to other restaurants serving the same food near and far and found it great value. We hope to dine here again before leaving this quaint town.

From all the restaurants I have visited in La Gomera, this one was below average. The mojo's really made me sad, as they really were a poor imitation of what it should be. As this place is mostly visited by tourists, in my view this is bad publicity for the Canarian cuisine. Also the white house wine tasted very cheap. The tuna fish was well cooked, but nothing to be remembered.
My last meal on the island was threfore a bit of a disappointment. To end on a positive note, the staff was friendly.

A fantastic family run restaurnant serving great local food.
We shared almagrote (local cheese paste) as a starter, I had cuttlefish as a main and my wife had lamb, all of the food was cooked to perfection and delicious.
The service and the atmosphere were fantastic.
Definitely one to return to in the future, highly recommended.

Excellent service, well crafted and hearty food. Put it on the guy who took care of us, always willing us to feel good. They open at 13:00 and we talked the day before to see if we had time to have lunch before taking the ferry, because at 12:50 was there, at 13:05 served us and 13:20 we are already on our way to the car. Clean bathrooms. Cheap prices and abundant food. We ate two for 19.50€. 100% recommend this restaurant. It's in real street, downtown. Thanks for everything, we'll repeat

I eat there every time I visit the island, alone or accompanied, but I have never felt alone. Great food, reasonable price and unbeatable service. One of the best watercress stews, without a doubt!

Lunch among the locals. Owner of the business is very friendly and does his best to speak English and German. Delicious fried squid rings and a Canarian fish eaten, fresh from the market. Delicious and very affordable.

Great typical local restaurant. The boss still serves here herself. The best is the fresh fish with Papas Arugadas and salad, with water and Vino Tinto de la Casa. And for dessert (Postre) "Leche Asada"

We have spent a few days on the island of La Gomera to visit it and one of the stops for lunch has been here, since I am guided a lot by the reviews and the truth is that it has been good. They certainly have not failed. The food was quite good, the place with the terrace was very nice and the service was a 10. The waiter was very pleasant from minute 1 until we left. He treated us very well and chatted with us for a while. The truth is that it is very worth it. Totally recommended for quality price.

This is the second year that we have come and we are always so well received.
Small typical city center restaurant.

It was nice to sit outside watching the people passing by in the pedestrian zone. The service was very friendly, the food was good, the house wine quite okay. A good place for a weekday dinner without any of the fancy stuff.
