Visited in the evening in mid-July at the recommendation of our hotel receptionist.
The waiting list was long ... significantly more than an hours wait to be seated (get your name on that list early!), during which time we sat on cushions on the wall and enjoyed some local beers and nibbles whilst watching the sun set and enjoying the people watching and the panoramic ocean vista.
The tapas was excellent, as were the nachos. But the real stand out for me was the chilled vibe and extraordinarily friendly and hard working staff. I got the sense that these guys enjoyed their work and that nothing was too much trouble.
Expect open sandwiches covered with delicious ingredients, oversized salads, meats, cheeses, olives, delicious bread and aioli. No presence of cooked traditional evening meals on the menu.
For the COVID-aware; menu is virtually accessed via a QR code, toilets were really clean, all staff wore masks at all times (which wasn’t enforced for diners, naturally!).
Beers, cava and a whole lot of food (too much food with hindsight!) for 2, all for circa €50.
Thoroughly recommended!

My wife and I spent a week in Ca'n Pastilla in September and spent a lot of time in this little gem. Located on Palma Beach in a line of little restaurants and cafés, you would think they're all the same!!!! Not in this case, close your eyes and sit among olive trees in the courtyard or by the sea and open them again and you would think you were back in the 60s. The restaurant has a happy hippie vibe, the staff are fantastic, the sangría the best we have ever had and the tapas is delicious. Prices are reasonable too. There is no booking so after 7 pm or anytime for that matter tables are hard to find. Bon Vent in Catalán, Fair Wind so make fair wind to this little gem.......wonderful ❤️

Took a chance on by far the loveliest looking cafe on the promenade.
A bohemian vibe with really super nice staff.
Going back to sample menu for sure, shame we had already eaten but the sangria went down far too easily!
Great venue for watching sun go down & changing colours in the evening sky, not to mention life going on all around.
Giving my husband a cosy red blanket to snuggle in when it got a bit chilly was just the nicest touch. The other guests seemed to appreciate them also.
Its popular and rightly so.

Chaotic place….And not in a good way. I presume they are struggling for hospitality staff but it really shines out here at the moment. The quality of food & beverages can’t be questioned but the table staff are in a league of their own. Slow, inattentive; confused and chaotic.
I would like to return…but until the waiting staff improve, I won’t!

I went with my partner for lunch and we shared the platter with hummus, cous cous, scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, feta, olives and pitta for dips. We also had the nachos which were excellent, plenty of toppings. To drink we had sangria and a cortado which were equally as good. Would definitely return!

I have lived on the island for 37 years so I know good value when I see and taste it! I looked on line for a good beach side restaurant close to the airport as I my granddaughter was flying home. We both agreed that Bon Vent was,a terrific find. Friendly staff, and the best nachos starter I have ever had here; beautifully presented and totally delicious. I'll return even though I live quite a way off! This restaurant is a quirky oasis and if you appreciate Mallorquin cuisine then this is the place!

A brilliant little place fantastic healthy food and service with a smile. Very helpful and attentive staff.
We have used this venue several times on each of our several visits to Majorca on holidays and I am impressed each time.

I went on the search for good coffee and found this place. Lets get the important but out of the way - the coffee is GOOD. The service was fantastic The waiter brought me some olives to get me started and then the Alioli and bread was also stunning… I went for the chicken sandwich. Very tasty! I’m sure to visit again.

Nowhere else holds a candle to this place. We were in Mallorca for 4 days and came here 3 times. This place gave us an authentic taste of Mallorca instead of the tourist traps you find along the beach front. Highly recommend the nachos, garlic bread, pina colada and of course the Sangria for the ultimate Spanish experience.

Loved this cozy, restaurant along the beach...esp. at night with such a wonderful, ‘intimate’ atmosphere.
We found this spot the final night before we left (due to COVID 19, we had to leave the Island 3 days earlier than planned😪). So sad we couldn't return. Food was ‘delish...wine superb ( as were the recommendations) and staff..awesome. Do NOT pass this by, especially of you enjoy great wine and local beer!

This busy spot serves very good food in a lovely beach front setting. The staff were very friendly and managed the queue that built up very efficiently. Would definitely recommend for either lunch or dinner

This little restaurant was close to our hotel. We had lunch there twice we liked it so much. We came back just for their nachos!! They had clean and lovely present food that was tasty. Their drinks were nice also…very fresh.
