Good atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Service a bit slow to start. I had a Havaco sandwich which came with Russian salad and chips. The sandwich was chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayonnaise and a fried egg between three slices of bread. It was blooming...lovely. Wife also had a sandwich and we both had large Tinto de Verano. It came to less than €20. Will always comeback to this place as long as it serves up food like this.More
When we entered Havaco, I asked a member of staff if they were still serving food, even though it was only 7pm on a Sunday. I was informed yes and told to take a seat, which we did.
For 10 minutes we sat a table...waiting for a waiter/ess to bring us menus and to take a drinks order, but the staff were too busy smoking and chatting outside.
Nobody came near us, so we decided to leave, even when we got up tp leave the staff remained outside smoking and chatting, totally uninterested.
Rude, rude, rude.More
We tried this restaurant as it was close to our apartment. Two G&T's, two really nice lentil soups, a lasagne and a scrambled egg/ham/mushroom dish plus coffee for €40 was reasonable value.
Service could have been better as the place was not terribly busy, but...overall, not badMore
Quick stop here for a bite to eat. Nice burger with lettuce, tomatoe, cheese, bacon and mayo in a bun. Came with chips for €8. Other half had a nice tuna and salad sandwich with chips. Both had Russian salad with them too. A beer,...tinto verano and 2 coffees. Total price €20. Good value. Service was ok but took some time to get the bill.More
You probably wouldn't expect to find a good restaurant inside a mall, but you'd be wrong in the case of Havaco.
I've eaten here a few times with friends, and we've been overwhelmed by how good the food is.
They offer a fairly reasonable selection...of Sandwiches, Toasties, Baguettes, Pastas, Soups and Snacks.
All of the food is prepared to a very high standard in generous portions and with sides of homemade potato salad. The food appears to be all freshly made and original, a great place to grab a bite.
It's located upstairs in the La Victoria Mall, and the outside seating can be a little noisy, but the inside seating has a nice ambience.
Excellent prices, and a little haven to escape from whilst waiting for friends in the mall.More
