Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Context: Table reserved for 4 persons, 6-8 pm restriction due to pandemic rules in Saxony (we knew), 2G conditions very neatly checked, thank you for accuracy! (this reputatio is, why we came!) Table service information: Pay bill at 8 pm, drink up at leisure then...in the next 10-15 min, then leave Food: Good food, goes well with the excellent wine selection Wine advice: Very competent, accommodating, responsive to guests' individual wishes. Service: everything good, 10 min before 8 pm still asked for last order, 5 min before 8 pm from the boss (sic !) 100 ml ordered (billed and paid) wine poured at the table. At 8 p.m. the bill for 180 euros + tip was duly paid to the very obliging, competent service staff, we had not yet finished 2 glasses of wine, wanted to complete in the next minutes, as advised at the beginning. BOSS of the shop comes, clears the table without any questions, does not respond to the hint of other information regarding the last minutes (see above), internal communication problem (explicit hint from us) ignored, SHOUTS US OUT WITH THE NOTICE THAT WE COULD READ AND KNOW THE CONDITIONS - OUT! We then took the wine we had already paid for in the glasses to the door, emptied it on the pavement at our leisure, left glasses in front of the restaurant/bar. WE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS HELPFUL HINT (BECAUSE OF SHERIFF FEAR?) FROM THE BOSS! We feel sorry for the very competent service staff! To simply negate the employee in front of the guests without comment ... is also a management style. - No further comment. Reason for summarily only 1 star (less is not possible): Advice and drinks 5 food 4 official communication (boss, who sat in front of his PC in the dining room all evening with a mask on - and somehow didn't fit into the actually cosy ambience) = MINUS FIVE Conclusion: - Recommendation: yes - but only if the boss (as on previous visit) is NOT present! - WE - never again! (no "Corona deniers", ricochets etc., ... "normal guests" who expect courteous service commensurate with the price and an open willingness to communicate - no arrogant Berlin snout (we are all NOT from Dresden - who often feel suppressed by Berliners!). - Tip to the service staff - we enjoyed your advice VERY much - we feel sorry for you! We would be very happy to come back to you - at another place! I will be happy to answer any questions personally - I have never experienced anything like this before! Eric SchoopMore

The atmosphere straight from a Spanish restaurant. home Spanish hospitality. at the entrance, we are greeted by the energetic Elder-owner. You can feel that Spanish blood and atmosphere. Delicious dishes and wines. From the best shelf in the best home cellar. The waiter - the...owner, at the same time extremely carefull by each of the guests. He is happy that everyone is happy. I highly recommend. Most honestly. LovelyMore

Located in the hip Neustadt neighborhood, this place is worth seeking out no matter where you stay in town. The owner is hands on and has confidence in his food for good reason. Everything we had was delicious and as with all good tapas, things...are done with a certain art form that makes them unique.More

This is a great palce to learn about German wines and have some good tapas food. The owner is a certified somm, so he knows a lot and can be a good source of info. He also has extensive competence in Spanish wines. If you...like wine, this is the place to go in Dresden. It is nicely locate on a very hip street, so sitting outside you just enjoy the festival of the street. The place is also great just to enjoy a beer.More

A really good place to just sit and watch the world go by. Landskron beer, a really good wine list, and some nice food to go with it. The three cheese selection was great, and the person serving was friendly and funny. An interesting area...and very eclectic. I have no idea what the previous reviewer commented about being ripped off as I wasn't there, but I found our service fun, honest and pleasant with very good English - far better than my German!! Actually told us to start with the house wine as a good opener rather than push us up the price list.More

I went here with my friends to eat and drink something above all because we saw outside a good wine with a cheaper price. At the end the waiter knowing that we were foreigns, he made money from us asking 10 euro more than the...price of the wine , I asked in English why, and he replied saying that the price written it was only to take away, but for sure he mocked us because there wasn't written so! So I can say that you are a poor person because we are students and you wouldn't take advantage in this way! I hope that you needed that money more than us!More

We were welcomed by the friendly staff who also gave good recommendations on which dishes to try and the wine. Not only did the food taste fantastic but the presentation was wonderful too. I can recommend the chorizo and prawn dishes - delicious. PLUS the...prices were extremely reasonable, we were shocked when we got the bill and saw how little we owed! Can't recommend this place enough. I'll definitely be returning if I'm ever in Dresden again.More

Average tapas, a little pricey though. I wish we had gotten further from the high-end touristy part of town for something a little more unique.

Really enjoyed this tapas bar/restaurant in Dresden. Been twice now. The food is excellent, freshly prepared, the tapas list has been different on each visit. There is a mix of traditional tapas small plates ith slightly larger meatier dishes. The wine offering is excellent, especially...Spanish reds, with high quality wines available by the glass. The owner is hands-on rrunning the show. This is not the freezer-tapas offered elsewhere in Dresden. Spent 90 Euro for two with about 8 plates, aperitifs and top quality wine.More

We've been travelling Germany for more then week and craving tapas for about as long, but we hadn't found any that looked good and/or served tapas. This did both! We shared six dishes between the two of us and the one was better then the...other. They seem to take great pride in what they do and the chef served us a few of the dishes himself. They also had a small but good wine selection and they seemed quite geeky about this too, something I like. Recommended!More

Delicious Tapas with fantastic atmosphere in Dresden Neustadt. Great wine and nice tapas options, the warm chorizo is fantastic. Not excellent but good, especially consider the above neustadt average prices. Fantastic atmosphere, the service is efficient and functional.
