Top-class food and service in cozy surroundings. Had a table of 2 couples, and we were guided well in relation to what was on the menu card, how much/little you approx. had to order etc. Service was both sweet and fast and food top class - especially in relation to the price. Best recommendations from here

Nice ambience, friendly service, the food was also very delicious. However, the tapas portions are very large and expensive. I think tapas should be small portions, so you can also order many different ones. But on the whole very satisfied. Small swab still is the time span. You are told that the table is only available for 2 hours and therefore feels very pressured by the time, especially since the first drink was only on the table after 30 minutes.

Gorgeous restaurant - it’s quite a small but perfectly formed menu. The ambience in the restaurant was lovely. I didn’t catch our servers name but she was so helpful and warm, a lovely red-haired lady with roots in Ireland 🙂 the stunning food, which we could see the chef hard at work preparing was washed down with the best whiskey sours and wine. I would not hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting Hamburg 💕

The welcome shot on the house at the beginning is a nice idea and tasted delicious.
The service is very nice and attentive, but sometimes quite young and inexperienced and not professional, which is what you would expect in a restaurant when the boss sees himself as a "gastronomic whisperer".
The food was good, but nothing special. Simple tapas dishes that are not cheap when you think of the price.
The signature dishes were not available except for one, with the explanation that the boss was on vacation (instead there was a smaller replacement menu).
The food came lightning fast (too fast), but we had to wait for the plates and cutlery and ask several times. That's not nice.
Unfortunately there was no wine recommendation and the bottle was only brought towards the end of the meal, which is also a shame.
We had 5 different waiters, even though one waitress introduced herself at the beginning by her first name and said she was responsible for us. Do they still do that today? Seems out of date.
What urgently needs to be fixed is the different music inside and outside. You can hear two different types of music at the window because there are apparently problems with connecting the system correctly. We should "talk it over". Why not turn off the music on the terrace, because it is completely sufficient from inside, even for the employees.
We had expectations, but all in all we were disappointed in the end. There are so many great concepts and restaurants in Hamburg, but there is still room for improvement here.

We came for New Year's Eve 2023 and enjoyed good, varied and copious food and wine in a friendly, warm atmosphere. The service was efficient and friendly. I can only surmise that this level of service continues throughout the year. Recommended!

La Paz has a really great atmosphere. The floral wallpaper with the stucco is just super beautiful! Furthermore, the service is very friendly and attentive, the tapas are very tasty and the drinks taste really great

Very spontaneously after a visit to the theatre we arrived a bit late, but the service was happy to serve us a really delicious dish despite the kitchen closing time. The place is really relaxing and quiet and the service enormously attentive and authentic. Good wine selection...

We received a very warm welcome!!
The La Paz is stylishly decorated so that you feel comfortable there.
The service is friendly and attentive.
Only the food was not entirely convincing. The tapas were prepared rather carelessly and when you order albondigas, you don't expect 3 mini meatballs in the bowl that is then filled with potatoes.
In conclusion: We would go there again for a drink and a few snacks. But we have had better tapas in Hamburg and would choose another restaurant if the food is the main focus.

I celebrated my birthday at La Paz and both I and my girls had a very nice evening there. The ambience was welcoming and modern. The service was excellent, friendly and really good mood. We never lacked anything. A bit surprising for all of us was that after another order it was announced that the kitchen was now closed. That wasn't so wild for us in this case. I just think it's nice when the service tells guests that the kitchen is about to close and you still have the opportunity to order something now. Otherwise, a 100% recommendation. I will come back.

This restaurant has a really poor service - do not ever go there - the table we booked was set for 8 people but we booked for 10. One chair was broken, the food came 2,5 hour after we sat down. We complained but where only insulted by the head Walter for complaining.
I hope that they do not erase this message just because it is poor.

Well, the shop is hip, at least that's how it sells itself.
Everything looks nice (in my world, "nice" is the little sister of ......).
I hate nothing more than being taken for a ride. For example, my husband ordered the "original matured Serrano Reserva" + a plate of Manchego. Honestly, how stupid do you think people are? It was a pack from Aldi and nothing more. The olives, wow, seriously? The supposedly grilled chorizo, seriously? The chipriones, are you not serious either? The dates with bacon from the microwave, not really for sale either?
We had to leave at 8 p.m., even though we had quite a lot on the bill with some wines etc.

We were here at the weekend. The place is packed, so make sure you make a reservation!
The tapas were delicious, there are various tapas with meat, fish or vegetarian and a large wine list. Overall, great value for money.
The staff are attentive, friendly and quick. We would eat there again anytime.

Great team, incredibly friendly. Guests feel right at home here! The food was fantastic, originally without a lot of frills and absolutely worth seeing and delicious. The only drawback is that the wines are too expensive.
