Brenner has delicious, creative food and a welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel like I'm a part of the neighborhood. From the art on the wall to the friendly nature of the staff to the grantees of an excellent meal, Brenner has quickly become our go-to restaurant for date night. The chef cooks seasonal food the menu is constantly evolving-- which promises new experiences and fresh tastes every trip! Don't expect to be in and out in an hour, but come with the attitude of enjoying a nice, peaceful dinner out.

It is hard to find a restaurant in Stuttgart that ticks all the boxes required for a good dining experience. This restaurant does that. Delicious food, friendly and attentive service. Definitely one of our favorites in Stuttgart.

OMG! Amazing! Absolute best accidental discovery! Highly recommend! Not only did I randomly find this fantastic restaurant, I found future forever friends. The food was spot on and as I mentioned in the title... if this restaurant is not being put up for a Michelin star review they definitely should be (IMHO). Everything was perfectly presented and precisely seasoned. My favorite was the Beef Tartare appetizer (which was not on the menu, but were kind enough to conjure it up for me). Everything I ordered was mouth watering, and it kept getting better with desert. They also have a really large selection of wines and fully stocked bar with many exotic spirits. You must request a pour of the "Honey Schnapps". The chef also makes and sells his own natural honey (very tasty). Speaking of the Chef and his wife, they are two of the most inviting and delightful leute (peeps for you non-Deutsch spreckers) I have met in Germany. They were very welcoming and fun to interact with. Heck, they are even pet friendly and provide a very cozy/chic atmosphere for both two legged and four legged friends. Am I coming back? Heck yeah! As a matter of fact, everytime I have to fly to Europe I make sure I route through Frankfurt and/or Stuttgart to get my culinary cravings under control! Kudos to Brenner and the entire crew! What a super dining experience. The welcome was warm, the questions asked of us about dietary requirements or preferences were delicately dropped into the conversation as we were seated, the service was as expected and the food was perfect. Stuttgart is not local for us but it will be hard not to return. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Brenner is situated centrally in Stuttgart between Charlottenplatz and Rathaus U bahn stations
I was able to get a booking via e-mail at 6.30 on a Wednesday evening courtesy of the helpful Sabrina.
The restaurant is quite small but the ambience is pleasant and the service good.
An English menu was available and I opted for pumpkin soup to start, loup de mer (Atlantic wolf fish) for main, and curd dumplings for dessert.
The soup was delicious (served with two types of bread) and the fish beautifully succulent accompanied by greens.
I also enjoyed the curd dumplings.
To drink, I had gin & tonic, a couple of glasses of Pinot Gris and a drop of port to accompany dessert.
I had a most pleasant evening here and would definitely return when next in Stuttgart.
Cost was €89.50 for one without service.
A little expensive but the food and drink merited the cost.

The food was excellent. I was really surprised by what we ordered. It was the first place in Germany where the food was really tasty and I just could enjoy the flavor of the dish I ordered. Usually everything in Germany is tasteless and insipid. I enjoyed a beef steak with some potatoes and my partner tried the lamb steak. Absolutely delicious! It was not cheap by any means, but it was worth every cent. The staff was also very friendly and professional. We had a great time.

The burner offers a unique experience: The service is not only extremely fast, but also incredibly friendly. What a great culinary experience, simple but brilliantly put together menu.
Walking in it was an intimate environment, I was greeted by the friendly host and sat at my table.
I chose the tempora battered Octopus for starter, sea bass main and chocolate cake for dessert.
The meal was not rushed and I was asked if everything was ok but in a non intrusive way..
The mixture of great food and a good host made the whole eating experience very enjoyable.

Almost nothing to complain about. Food, service wine selection and value for money: everything very close to perfection. All dishes we had were outstanding.
The only area for improvement might be the outside chairs. They are a bit uncomfortable after a while even with a cushion.

We visited in 2019 right before the pandemic and this was our first time back since. We loved every minute of it our first visit and this second visit 3 years later did not disappoint. Wonderful food, wonderful service, and the atmosphere was just as warm and inviting as we remembered.
