Delicious food, welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere. We relished the 8 course meal with wines. It was exciting to try new flavours and also discover special wines. We were amazed by the wine / food pairings and enjoyed the information from the wait staff. On top of the 8 courses, there were little mini dishes throughout. In fact we probably should have gone for less courses, since by the end we were very full and a little boggled by all the variety (not to mention all the wine). We have been remeniscing about the dishes ever since.
The restaurant took care with hospitality details, from phoning the day before to check dietary requirements, to the array of toiletries in the toilets.
We were seated in a cosy section perfect for couples, with large comfortable chairs and a sense of privacy.
The staff were responsive to our eating pace and slowed down / gave a pause so that we could eat and drink at our own pace.
I wish that we lived nearer to Stuttgart so that we could go again!

We did a lot of research and ended up picking restaurant five which is the number one restaurant in Stuttgart. We ended up getting the seven course meal with the accompanying wine flight.
This is an absolute culinary journey that was exceptional. They say seven courses but they really serve more like 13 very small courses. The food is assembled with such flavors and textures, every bite literally will explode with flavor.
Our wine flight served by our sommelier was also outstanding. They were serving wines that were 20 to 30 years old for some courses.
Expect to pay about US$300 per person for the full experience and I will tell you after living through it, it is worth every penny.
And last thing to say is that the service was also outstanding. I can tell you will not be disappointed with restaurant five. Our entire meal took about 4 1/2 hours and all of us enjoyed every minute of it.

Restaurant 5 has been treating me well with delivery and I was happy to visit in person since restaurants can open again. The food and service have not suffered during quarantine. Go eat here! It is casual yet serves impeccable food, delicious, and so comfortable.

Once again the food, service, and ambiance were perfect. The waiter remembered me from our last visit, poured my all time favorite white wine (paired with the main fish dish), and then blew me away with the red wine pairing in the second main dish. The depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and care for service from the wait staff is unmatched in the Stuttgart area (so far). Top marks for 5 and their staff!

Absolutely amazing. I honestly cannot recall when I have had a better meal. The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Allergy issues were addressed by phone before we ever arrived. The food is indeed creative and totally loaded with flavor. The starters were the highlight of the meal and have left an indelible impression. 5 completely deserves their spot at the top of the food and beverage offerings in Stuttgart. This is a rather expensive restaurant, with an out-the-door total above €400 for two people, but it is unquestionably worth the price if you value fine food and drink. We will be back without a doubt!

First impression is critical. I received a pleasent call the morning of the reservation to enquire about any dietary requirements and any special wishes. Nice touch.
Ambience was comfortable and we were seated in a little nook with enough privacy to enjoy dinner and conversation.
As expected, the team were attentive and knowledgeable on the various offerings. Food was good and well presented.
It gets a bit warm in the summer, but otherwise highly recommended.

Accommodating staff and owner, a truly unbelievable eating experience - we got the 3 course bae menu with the wine pairing. Each dish was unique, delicious, and just absolutely beautiful to look at (my photography skills do not do it justice, but I tried!). Truly a great night.

The wine pairing with the Zander fillet was one of the best dishes I have ever had out of the 20 Michelin starred restaurants I have been to. The ambiance, service, FOOD, and wine all played together perfectly. It is very rare that I have a wine pairing that makes the food and the wine both, BETTER. Truly a fantastic experience that a founded on great food and enhanced by the incredible service founded on a fantastic understanding of the food they serve. 100/100 and I cannot recommend it enough!

People working there are friendly and accommodating plus it shows they really have passion with food and wine. What caught my attention was the virtual food such as the plum, corn and olives. Thats show's so much creativity and another level of food experience.I also like all the non-alcoholic drinks they serve. I love it.!

As always, the food, wine, and service were amazing! Even with the COVID curfew, they were able to make every moment feel genuine and not the least bit rushed. The chef’s menu gets stronger every time we come here. All of the dishes were delicious but the cheese dish at the end of the night was incredible. It was the most cohesive and unique serving of cheese I have ever had at any of the Michelin starred restaurants I have been to. I had only three wines tonight and the sommelier was able to pair them across seven dishes masterfully. This is quickly becoming my favorite fine dining experience!

I have worked with fabulous chefs, including several with Michelin stars, so you could say I’m a little spoiled when it comes to great restaurant and dining experiences. The dinner at 5 was an excellent experience from the surprising and delicious apéro through four courses. Great service as well - knowledgeable and personable. Interior decor is stylish, altogether they create a very good atmosphere. Absolutely recommend.

We had come by on a whim being in the area but did not have a reservation. Fortunately we were blessed because Arsen had greeted us and went out of his way to see if we could get seated. Arsen explained in great detail every item on the menu and gave his 100% attention to our dining needs. He was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! The food that was served was just fantastic! It says 5-course but I certainly feel like it was much more (perhaps the alcohol was too good). While the food had significant praise, I think that Arsen made the experience for us as he was such a great host. I highly recommend anyone to come!

Michelin restaurants can sometimes be misleading, making you think that you need to express some sort of “high-class” image , dress fancy etc. However , at 5 , the entire atmosphere is completely wholesome and familistic , you get treated as a friend by the staff, owner and even the other customers. With such an inviting atmosphere, you can easily just be yourself , without feeling the pressure of respecting the imposed , generic social values. It goes without saying that the food, service, wine and Sommelier are on the same level as the atmosphere, that is top tier level.
I’m no stranger to this form of kindness and freedom, I have experienced something similar in a restaurant in Paris a while ago, however me and my friends were the first Romanians the owner has met , and this kind of human interaction and excitement to connect with other cultures just made the entire experience completely unique and superb!
With that said , I recommend this establishment with my whole heart and I hope to revisit it soon!

We were here for lunch. It is a great value for lunch, no question. We had the parmigiano foam soup with chive oil that was so flavorful and delicious. A must order. We also had the saffron risotto with the 3 minute egg on top plus we added the pike for an extra 10€. This was also outstanding! The food preparation is top notch! Service was outstanding. Very innovative and executed extremely well. I can’t imagine a better restaurant in Stuttgart! Highly recommend!
