As a premise I must say that I am Italian and that this is not only the best pizzeria in Stuttgart but one of the best pizzerias I have tried in general.
The dough is left to rise for a long time and is really light.
The choice of ingredients is very accurate (three different types of mozzarella) and there are pizzas that are not obvious and with typical Italian flavors that are difficult to find in other places. They also have typical Apulian appetizers called "Friselle" which are a must try. although we do not live nearby we go to eat at the trulli regularly.

We came across the pizzeria by chance because we were looking for a Neapolitan pizza and since then we regularly drive over an hour to Stuttgart to eat this pizza! The dough is so delicious, the creations extraordinary and the ingredients of the highest quality! The service is really friendly and attentive, the food comes super quickly and so far every pizza has been a delight! It's worth every cent and every trip for us :-)!

I saw a lot of videos and pictures before eating. The restaurant is something special.
The atmosphere is quite cozy and well laid out. You can't get a seat without a reservation.

The anticipation was great... To present such poor quality for these prices is shocking. The pizza was pretty black around the edges, so that the burnt/smoky taste covered up the already tasteless pizza dough. The pizza was also served lukewarm (more lukewarm than warm).
The toppings were OK, but not spectacular and certainly not of particularly outstanding quality. Burrata was also tasteless. Service was friendly, but rather sporadic. Unfortunately, a lot has changed for the worse in the last 10 months. The former spirit and love for the ingredients no longer shine. The menu has a red triangle symbol with a storm cloud in the middle of the triangle. As if it indicated the mood in the house. We wanted to try something new and made a reservation at Trullo's.
The shop is very small, so there is almost no room on the tables.

We became aware of Trullos because of the great reviews and pictures of the pizza and spontaneously reserved a table during the week. We ordered 2 pizzas, well what can we say... simply fantastic!!! The pizza dough is absolutely amazing! The crust is quite thick and you might think it's a heavy dough, but it is soooo incredibly fluffy and simply delicious! The ingredients were of very high quality, the service was impeccable! We chose the classic pizzas with salami and ham, next time we will try the unusual versions. In other words: we will definitely be back soon! Thank you!! Higher price is completely OK for pizza - you get what you pay!! :-)

I saw the pizzas on the internet and with all the good reviews I thought I had to try the pizza myself. After all, I was there with my family and ordered the pizza Diavolo. The dough was really airy and crispy at the edge, the bottom just a bit too thin after me, but it was awesome.
