We had lunch at this restaurant. The building and space are beautiful, and the restaurant was well attended. The food was only fair, and the the wine steward(ess) and waiter were completely disinterested in their jobs and our meals. We each had a starter and...More

Four for lunch on a Friday, we had the 33 euro Lunch option. Bread tasted stale, the Boulliabasse mains were disappointing, very little soup with small amounts of over cooked fish. Slow and indifferent Service. However the views from our table on the top terrace...More

There was no requirement for a reservation on a Friday evening. Opening at 7pm, I booked a table for 8pm, which gave an opportunity to saunter around this delightful village. A set 7 course menu for €55 with timely service and decent wine, was well...More

I would think this not a good choice for you. There are other more suitable restaurants in Mougins that would make your lunch with children more relaxed. The restaurant is formal with no childs menu.

Now completely refurbished, L'Amandier has reopened under the leadership of Denis Fétisson, but with total respect for the ethos of Roger Vergé: Innovation, Sophistication and Authenticity. This transformation also introduces 3 new features:• The ground-floor Boutique offers an impressive selection by Denis Fétisson of fine tableware and authentic local produce.• The Roger Vergé Lounge for 20 diners, designed and decorated with personal input from Denise Vergé. A ‘Spécial Roger Vergé’ menu will be served here as a tribute to the creator of Cuisine du Soleil.• On the top floor, the Cookery School is run by Denis Fétisson, who offers personalised cookery classes and even the opportunity to prepare a whole meal alongside the chef himself.
