We needed a quiet restaurant in Paris for an important meeting. Restaurant du Palais Royal turned out to be the perfect place. The mesmerizing Palais Royal is of course among the most beautiful places in the world and the restaurant only adds to that experience. Modern, no nonsense, beautiful design. Non intrusive highly professional staff and let’s not forget that part of the experience, wonderful food. Every table gives you plenty of space and the low noise level makes it possible to have a normal conversation. The lunch menu is a true bargain. Three course set menu still offering a nice choice, for our vegetarian friend they immediately suggested to make something especially for her (a beautiful soufflé). As a New Yorker I found the portions on the large side for a lunch but if you’re visiting Paris as a tourist or for business not having also a dinner planned on the same day it may just be what you want. I had the best codfish I ever had in my life, a beautiful very subtle ‘fried rice’ dish as a starter and a heavenly desert. And all of this with an attentive staff, no over the top phony explanations about the food, no pushing of expensive wines, just friendly people making sure you feel well taken care off. I highly recommend this restaurant and will most certainly go back with colleagues, friends and loved ones.

A group of us had a lovely meal here today. We chose to go at lunchtime because you can get a set lunch menu for €57 which is much cheaper than the evening menu. The food was great and the service amazing. We mentioned that we had a vegetarian in our party as part of our reservation. If you are a vegetarian then I recommend telling the restaurant in advance because many of the meals have meat in them which is not mentioned on the menu. The waiter knew we had a vegetarian so pointed it out which was great. Due to covid the restaurant only had tables outside. Which worked brilliantly as it was a lovely sunny day. Lots of people recommend going to this restaurant in the evening because you get the palace gardens to yourself (I think its shut to the public after sunset). If you can afford the increased prices then I imagine it would be lovely.

I had dinner here with my husband on my birthday and it was incredible. All of the servers were so kind and helpful with choosing wine and food, and ensuring an overall great experience. We ordered a la carte and there were so many thoughtful and tasty extras between our a la carte courses that we actually felt as if we had done a tasting menu. We were so full we could barely finish our amazing desserts! They also overheard my husband saying "Cheers to a happy birthday" to me and brought out a little cake with a candle for me without us even mentioning anything to the staff. So thoughtful and attentive. Loved every aspect of this dinner.

Ate here over the Christmas holidays. Shocking how uncrowded the restaurant was, given its star rating, and reasonable price. Service from the restaurant staff was impeccable...as expected from a Michelin starred restaurant. Some unique offerings on the menu...again, things you expect from a Michelin, and would never find in the corner brasseries.

Excellent food and service. Aligned with what you should expect from Michelin 1 star: thoughtful and inventive food (a sort of fine French and Greek fusion), nice decor, and attentive service. You can notice the slight mistakes (I said I didn’t like whole olives and they served me olives twice) and small flat notes, but I couldn’t recommend enough. Location is spectacular. We got the tasting menu, where every course was well portioned, and we had an excellent experience overall. May consider lunch, which can be in the gardens themselves, on a future visit to Paris.

We had made a reservation just before the restaurant got its second Michelin star, and we found that the reward was well-deserved! The best part of my lunch? the various small appetizers that came at the beginning; each was perfection and I simply cannot describe them because so many elements went into their preparation. The rest of the lunch was great as was the dessert. Our reservation was for 1:30, and I could not help feeling that we were a bit rushed through the meal. But everyone was incredibly nice and engaging! The chef came as we were finishing. He is very young and has many years of outstanding cooking ahead of him.

This was an incredible experience. When you walk into the restaurant, there is a luxurious aroma being diffused into the air. I was taken on a beautiful journey tasting these amazing foods and wine. The staff was beyond attentive and I truly felt like a queen. No detail is overlooked here, I promise it is worth the experience alone!

This was our second visit with a 4 year gap, it was great then and is now even better. The dishes are so cleverly constructed and yet each ingredient shines through. I could wax lyrical about each dish. We have dined in a number of Michelin starred restaurants this is my all time favourite, It was perfection on a plate. Served by a very pleasant and helpful waitress, Will return when next in Paris.

The decor is great, as the food and as the service. That's what I call a top place where you find the best ingredient for enjoying life as a gourmet. I came to this place long time ago, it's even better now. We had the a la carte menu. Langoustines, then lobster then the Baba au Rhum for dessert. Absolutely perfect. Great location. I love the area.

The whole experience from the moment of arrival was special. The chef is certainly a perfectionist. Every dish was executed with skill and balance. His dishes have been kept "real" with the main ingredient the star, enhanced by subtle sauces. We had Langoustine, mouth wateringly tender served with a basil sauce. A divine dish!! The lamb rack was a melt-in-the-mouth winner. Spectacular desserts finished off our exceptional evening. Can't wait to return. A big thank you to the chef and the wait staff for giving us a memorable evening.

We booked a lunch at Palais Royal Restaurant having not researched it so much, it was convenient as it was close to our hotel and had availability ;-) We were blown away by the quality, it was absolutely amazing. We have been to many top restaurants and this was one of the very best we ever visited. The waiting staff was so well coordinated, absolute 10 out of 10. The chef also came and say hello at the end, very humble guy! They have a young team performing at the highest of levels. Really impressive! Can do nothing but recommend to go there!

Two Michelin stars are well-deserved. We had the lunch menu, which was superb. It was a healthy balanced meal, with a suprise Greek yoghurt from the chef. The spicy brioche was amazing. As there were two options per course, staff suggested we pick the two so both of us could try everything. The atmosphere inside was not rushed, really a fine dining experience. Elegant Christofle utensils were used. Staff were friendly and attentive, not snobbish. Notably, they wore nice Lacoste shoes! What's more, it's just in front of the Palais Royal Garden so we were able to conveniently hang around after a wonderful meal.

What a wonderful restaurant at the palais royal gardens. Light cuisine full of taste and never overbearing. Extremely friendly service in proper English. Wine list not up to the level of the cuisine but the wine pairing was good and generous. For sure a 2 Michelin star experience not to be missed.
