If you wanted to eat here, I would really recommend booking as we saw about 6 groups being turned away during our meal. It's a cosy atmosphere with friendly service. Even in limited tables, we didn't feel rushed to turn our table around. My personal preference regarding the food, I felt like there were too many sharp sour elements in every dish which made it feel unbalanced.

Juveniles is a tiny place that I found by reading a lot of reviews. While there is not much in the way of ambience, the food is spectacular. We savored every bite. The menu changes almost daily, but during our visit we enjoyed a creamy soup with mussels (see picture), foie gras, roasted scallops, skate, creamy rice pudding and apple crumble. The lovely proprietor/owner helped us select outstanding wines and we enjoyed chatting with her. LOVED this gem and can’t wait to go back on our next visit to Paris.

Don’t miss the chance to dine at Juveniles while in Paris! Very small local restaurant with great service and outstanding food. The menu offered a few outstanding dishes and everything we tasted was really delicious . Make a reservation.

A very positive review indicated lunches were available for 20euros. Turns out there's one daily special (today's 18euros), otherwise, the alacarte menu offers very few plats for 20 euros or less. Ambience is warm and inviting and feels family-run. We were greeted warmly, given menus and ordered within approximately ten minutes, since we were only the second table of about ten. My friend ordered a starter and plat while I just had the daily menu. After the starter, we waited at least 35 minutes or more before our plats arrived, yet guests arriving after us were being served. When we signaled like "where's our meal," the response was always the same. It's coming. But they didn't. In addition, the dirty plates from the starter and utensils remained on the table the entire time, in spite of the two female servers passing by repeatedly. Not once did they look our way nor attempt to remove the soiled items. The daily special was a veal breast that was to be cooked long and slow so as to be flavorful and juicy. However, a third of it was tough and unchewable, and the remaining two-thirds had a considerable amount of fat, also unedible. As it turns out, it also didn't tast like the veal was cooked in the other ingredients integrating all the flavors. Instead, they were individual flavors combined with the veal at the very end. Other guests who arrived after us had eaten and approached the counter to pay, which they did. When my friend approached to pay, he was told to sit and the check would be presented to him. He did, but it never came so he approached the counter once again and was told to wait because she was busy taking care of other guests. He stood, waited, then paid. Yet every other guest approached the counter to pay, we were denied until deciding to simply wait at the counter. This experience started out well and pleasantly, but end badly.

This small Parisian restaurant has an inviting atmosphere, mainly due to the two friendly workers who took care of us and the other customers. We ordered the steak dinner with potatoes and salad for two people. It was wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes were so good. Also had a carafe of French red wine that went well with the meal. Note- The steak is only cooked in the French rare way, so if you don't like red inside this might be the way to go.

On our last night in Paris we had the privilege of dining at Juveniles. Small and friendly, this delicious restaurant is truly unique and not to be missed. Upon arrival for our reservation, the server was extremely kind and considerate regarding my fiancé’s dairy allergy. Most Parisian restaurants would simply tell him 3-4 menus items he could eat, and wouldn’t offer any modifications to other dishes. But Juveniles was different in the best way possible. They accommodated us with open arms and made us feel at home. The food and wine here was truly out of this world. It was indisputably the best meal we had in our entire trip around France and Belgium. We ordered the razor clams and grilled octopus to start and shared the steak for two as our entree. The kitchen was able to make my fiancé a special non-dairy side of grilled vegetables at no additional cost, and they still gave me a side of mashed potatoes to enjoy myself. I kid you not: these were the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in my entire life! We stayed for dessert and a digestif until closing because it was hard to leave this magical spot. We look forward to returning upon our next visit to Paris and thank this incredible staff for a memorable, special night.

We felt like we were at home and a great French chef is in the kitchen preparing dinner. This is a small cozy restaurant in a convenient location near The Louvre. There are only a small number of tables in a wine bar setting but the staff knows how to create a warm relaxed atmosphere. The food consists of the special of the day as well as their standard offerings … all delicious.

While the wine carte is front and center in this welcoming and busy little (only 25-30 covers) place, the food and service were equally superior. Cuisine is contemporary bistro, with about five choices in each course. We were a party of four. Starters we tasted and all approved of were croquettes of veal tongue, crispy exterior and succulent tender tongue, over a slaw of celery root and green apple, as well as a scallop option and a dish of pumpkin gnocchi . Mains were pintade with tender flavorful fowl, and a lamb. Desserts were a benchmark rice pudding with caramel sauce, and a light fresh citrus salad with meringue and a poached apple, all very satisfying. We were celebrating, so indulged in a bottle of champagne, followed by two different carafes of the day's featured wines and three glasses of sauterne, which came to €168. The four starters, four mains, and four desserts came to €204, which we thought was very fair for the quality of the offerings. Very interesting and varied wine list in addition to reasonably priced wines of the day; knowledgable wine advice. Service was friendly and warm, decor casual and pleasant. Recommended, and will certainly return.

My wife and I have had the opportunity to travel often and to experience many great meals. We were lucky enough to arrive at Juveniles early for lunch without a reservation. This cozy restaurant seemed to be mainly geared toward the wine drinker, but our family of four were more interested in the cuisine. Every dish we ordered was perfectly cooked, but most incredible were the vegetable pairings and accompanying sauces. We have never tasted such fresh, delicious food. This was without doubt the best of many meals we had in Paris. Coupling this with the courtesy and attentiveness of the owners made this a memorable experience.

We found this restaurant on an overnight stay in Paris. The website looked interesting and the reviews were good. We enquired at lunchtime about an evening table and we’re fortunate to get the walk in table by the doorway for an evening meal. We duly turned up at 7.30 and were seated quickly. There is a happy busy feel to this place and we found the staff very attentive without being the least bit pushy. We ordered quickly and went for tuna and duck and we were told, as everything is cooked fresh, that there would be a wait. We had asked for a bottle of petit Chablis and this arrived quickly and was delicious. The mains arrived after a short time and they were superb, the tuna was seared to perfection and the duck pink and succulent. We were quite full after the main meals and decided to share a cheese platter that was more than ample for two after the main course. The service throughout was excellent, attentive without being intrusive and the final bill was more than satisfactory for the meal we had eaten. I would definitely make this my first stop if we were to go to Paris again, but I would probably book early next time and not sit in the doorway. Thank you.

We have eaten at Juveniles on a number of occasions, but not for some time. Therefore it was great to return, with a friend of the owners. We were welcomed by Margaux, who now runs the place with her husband, who is the head chef. Everything was great, the food lovely, accompanied by some delicious wines, which you can also buy to take away. It has a bistro, wine bar feel, but well worth a visit for an excellent meal. We hope to return again soon.

Small and cozy restaurant surrounded by wine bottles and crates. Wonderful service with English speaking owners/servers and translations available. Wine was very good and affordable. My favorite dish of the entire trip, including from other Michelin starred restaurants, was the mushroom girolles dish. I've never had that flavor combination before, with such perfectly cooked chanterelles. I should have just ordered three of those for dinner. Wish I went to the restaurant more than once on our trip. Can't wait to return.

Juveniles is one place we must visit when in Paris. Again a delightful reinforcement with the raw St Jacques, veal sweetbreads, and poached figs amongst the highlights. If you enjoy well-sourced products treated skillfully and plated beautifully in full volume sans unnecessary manipulation and confusing superfluous complexity complexities this is your joint. Chefs confident enough to use their skillsets and kitchen tools and staff only to enhance the voice of their products is all too rare in the Mich-level dining scene. Here you get this in a cheerful cozy bistro setting rightfully appreciated by locals with a concise intelligent winelist priced to encourage exploration to boot.

This is the first restaurant we book when we come to Paris . The food was excellent - starting with the cepes mushrooms, then the lamb and chicken dishes with polenta and finally the amazing apple crumble . And the sommelier helped us choose a wonderful Cote Rôtie . The restaurant is intimate and casual .

The staff of this very small restaurant is pleasant and the place is equally popular with locals and tourists. While my dishes were good, a request for the no lactose preparation of a fish did not go well. The main drawback is the extremely small dining area which is packed with small tables with no privacy whatsoever for the diners. Of course the background noise level is also high. Would not go back.
