Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small traditional charcuterie with a great selection. Had the sesame bun with chicken and honey mustard - absolutely perfect!

We picked up some buns and many meats here. Owner let us taste all of them before purchasing. All were excellent. He also has some wines, and recommended one. We have tried it, and it was excellent. Can be pricey but comes with excellent quality.

The place We visited this charcuterie few days ago having booked a “table” for two. When we arrived we realized that no table is available and we had to stand like in a “stand up” comedy (or tragedy to be accurate). The place was small and messy with a 2-3 flies in the air to keep us company. The wine A lady who welcomed us suggested to buy a Moet Chandon rose champagne to accompany our dishes. This champagne which usually costs around €45 per bottle was sold for €135!!! When we denied we welcomed another suggestion come from the guy with the moustache for a completely unknown and dubious quality chardonnay (from Israel! not even Burgundy) at the price of €100!!! We finally ended up with a Chateauneuf du Pape 2018 blanc at the price of €69 which was the only decent option. The menu The “menu” consisted of two plates each; one with salami, pastrami e.tc. the other ones the first with salmon and the other one with fois gras and goose and duck bites plus handmade bread. The quality of dishes was good in general however not as good as in other top class salumerias in Italy (e.g. De Miccoli in Siena), in Spain (Merkado in Barcelona) or even Greece (Delimaris in Lefkada). Fois gras with figs was delicious however not good enough compared to Mavromatis in Paris. The value For these plus a slice of a poultry wellington we paid €274 (without a receipt) which is a shame considering that during our stay in Paris we paid less or the same price at Michelin starred restaurants (i.e. Mavromatis, OKA, Benoit). The conclusion If you would like to feel like an idiot please feel free to go there, I would never again do it so - it is a shame.

We called in here for an onion pletzel but were in awe of the cold meats and salads available. There was even space at the end ot the counter to have a glass of wine and an aperitif with the choice of the counter to taste!

Simply put, this man knows what he's doing. We came as a somewhat large group and Michel (and his lovely wife!) walked us through an amazing tasting. Wine flowed, fantastic charcuterie was had...this is a TOP notch shop. Absolutely not to be missed. The duck pastrami was a personal favorite.

Yeh, Yeh, I've heard it all. Brooklyn delicatessens are da bomb!! Well, in fact this haven, in variety and quality for foodies has few rivals. This is where we come for the pastrami to make a 'Reuban's sandwich'. But before our gaze melts in heady profusion of delectables and fine charcuteries, we are offered a taste of chicken liver with onions, as silky as foie gras. My femme rolls her eyes in ecstasy while hold all expressions in a passionate embrace. We watch as a podze calf's tongue , get thinly sliced. Another taste offering.... complex and delicate and oh-so-satisfying. next to the traditional fare lie the house dishes : duck pastrami, hazelnut sausages which the owner enthusiastically offers us to taste. These treats would keep us going as long as we could taste the whole shop.

The amazing master charcuterie chef Michel Kalifa of Charcuterie Maison David in the Marais in Paris hosted us for some amazing fois gras, pastrami and other delicacies. He is a master butcher who was declared the top butcher of 2013. He previously was with Allain Ducasse

I bought not to eat in, but to take away. Finally ! A kosher butcher who knows how to cook and doesn't sell pinkish and salty paper! All the products are wonderful, well seasoned, well cooked, and have the true taste of the products of yesteryear. A paradise for Ashkenazi food lovers. A delight !

Very bad experience in this Ashkenazi deli. The prices are extremely expensive!!! The slices of pastrami are maddeningly thick. I now understand the price of the bill for some cold meats: 150 euros. On top of that we ask for a product and they slip us another one instead. Truly he is the king of the gentle scam. There is nothing worse than unfair trading techniques. Store with questionable hygiene. We will never set foot here again. If it’s just to be plucked alive…
