Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just happened upon this restaurant. It is family run, has great service and people are friendly. Best of all, we went on a Sunday and their specialty was Chinese dumplings. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

At the edge of the Luxembourg gardens this is a far better than average Chinese restaurant in Paris for a reasonable price. Special boiled dumplings and dim sum available for Sunday lunch.

Own by two very nice sisters that have been raised in the restaurant, you enter the space and you strait dive into the historical soul of the place. This restaurant is for me one of the best Chinese restaurant in Paris and the oldest which hasn't change since the opening. That means that the decoration is as old as the place it self. It definitely takes you on a journey to china in the early 50's and you completely forget that you are in Paris. The best part is definitely the food with some real classic and re invented dishes with plenty of choices and a great selection of wine that has been put together very cleverly. A must if you are looking for Chinese great food and ambiance so I recommend for sure./

I've been to this restaurant my all life, my family goes there since 70 years and lately the service have become really bad. They were annoyed by our irritation on the service. So they yelled at us because we were annoyed of waiting for them to take our orders (more than 30min just to take our orders). The food is still very good but I don't think me and my family will ever go back to this restaurant. It's really sad because my grand parents used to come every Sunday for 50 years.

Great Chinese food. Raviolis are amazing on Sundaysdays, can't get enough of them! (Reservation is a must) Have been a regular for the last 30 years, never been disapointed. I took some Chinese colleagues from China who also were very impressed.

My wife and I ate at the restaurant during our recent visit to Paris. We stumbled across it by accident - what a piece of luck!. The food was excellent and the service very prompt and friendly. For Paris I could not believe how cheap it was to eat at this restaurant. A hidden gem of a restaurant.

It's an old and a bit worn out chinese restaurant. Full of locals and loud chatter, the atmosphere is quite nice, and the service is good. The dumplings and spring rolls were very good but main courses (chicken w/ almonds and beef chop suey) were quite bland. There were a lot of vegetables and the portions were big.

The food is fresh and very well prepared. I have never had a bad meal herem whether lunch or dinner. Sunday lunch is packed with people who have come for the dumplings. One of my favorite plates is crevettes aux graines noires. Try it ... A friendly family run restaurant with a menu that's friendly to vegetarians and vegans.

Well located close to the Jardins du Luxembourg and the Pantheon, this restaurant is a classic for the locals in the area. Not trendy, but well known for its good food and nice owners. You will not be disappointed.

An excellent, real Chinese restaurant (as opposed to the uniquitous chains where everything is microwaved before your very eyes) near the Jardin du Luxembourg. There is a range of regional cuisines on offer and everything they serve is delicious. Like other reviewers I have a thing for the shrimp in black bean sauce, but in truth you can't go wrong: it's all good. You should eat here.

Now in 3rd generation of family ownership, this consistently good performer has been turning out tasty classic dishes from all regions of China from Cantonese to Hunan spice. Sunday is the day they serve their steamed dumplings and worth a try. Two favorite dishes are shrimp with black bean sauce and beef with onions and the portions are generous. My only peeve is why they charge you for the small bowl of steamed white rice.

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
