What a wonderfully warm and modest restaurant. The 8 course tasting menu my wife and I had this evening has to be amongst some of the most exquisite food we have had the pleasure of enjoying, not just on our visit to Paris, but more broadly.
The fusion of French and Korean cuisine is exceptionally well balanced, without tipping too much in either direction, and each plate was bursting with different flavours and textures which had clearly identifiable influences. It was genuinely a treat to explore each dish.
And on top of delivering an exciting culinary experience, the menu is very good value for money - we arrived extremely hungry having walked for kilometres around Paris, but we departed full and satisfied with not just the quality, but the quantity of food provided.
Lastly the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, with each dish described clearly and in detail, and in English for us to understand. Really can’t find a fault in the entire evening, so if you’re looking for a memorable dinner, look no further.

Beautiful dinner. Fantastic attention to detail and lovely staff. Great for a romantic evening. The team made accommodations (without issue) in every dish for the fact that I’m pregnant and therefore have some dietary restrictions. Will be back soon!

First visit to this restaurant located in the 9th arrondissement. I discover a long room, controlled lighting, stone wall on one side and large mirrors on the other. Professional and warm welcome.
When I try a restaurant for the first time I always opt for the large menu, it's the opportunity to taste the entire culinary universe of the chef and his brigade. I went for the 8 course menu for €95.
The result was above my expectations. Without a doubt my gastronomic favorite of the year 2023. Franco-Korean cuisine, blends with pinpoint precision, punchy flavors, perfect control of acidity and bitterness. No false notes on the plates, everything was done with precision and passion. Some favorites: salsify en papillote, oxtail and kimchi ravioli, revisited bibimbap with shredded crab, pigeon supreme conchigliette liver sauce and red wine raspberry condiment (the best pigeon dish of my life), the pistachio and pink berry cookie.
To accompany this meal, the sommelier found me an exceptional pinot noir, practically impossible to find these days, a Côte de Nuits from Didier Fornerol, the Rue des Foins 2018, a marvel.
In terms of service, we take great care, it's efficient, clear explanations, and with a smile.
It goes without saying that the value for money is exceptional as the evening was such a success. I look forward to returning there very soon.

Perhaps our expectations were too high given the stellar reviews this place has been racking up, but we found the plates all technique and execution, without a great deal of flavor and taste. Ingredients were over manipulated and over worked. We thought there was a surprising timidity of the Korean influences we were expecting.
Dining room is pleasant and service was excellent. Our 90€ six course menus were priced about right for the kitchen's ambitions, but just failed to deliver enough taste to return or recommend. The two menus, two glasses of champagne and a lovely bottle of Marsanny blanc from Pataille came to 305€.

I loved !!! Tasty, refined, original, creative cuisine. Very difficult to find better value for money in the Paris region (tasting menus at 90 and 110 euros). For example, the fish dish was just sublime with a red mullet cooked to perfection, an exquisite sauce and a very original garnish (celery purée-cream in a crunchy shell). The same goes for the stuffed squid glazed with an ink sauce. And I could go on like this for a long time because each of the multiple dishes had such an impact on me.
The only downside is that the service is a little overwhelmed; In my opinion this is all that is missing for a first star which I think would have been obtained a long time ago without that. The servers are lovely but there just seems to be a bit too much work for them. This is just a downside, I loved it and I will come back! Especially since they change the menu every month; I can't wait to discover the chef's new creations

A wonderful experience!
We came as a couple.
We were very well received to come and have lunch at Perception this afternoon of 01/25/2023.
The setting is very sober and romantic, the servers are attentive and know the dishes like the back of their hand in order to advise us best.
The card is renewed every 15 days.
And what can we say about the manager, who is also very attentive and concerned about the well-being of his team!
As for the dishes, we discovered the marriages of flavors with the beauty of the plates, everything has been thought out with taste. We had a great time and were amazed from the starter to the dessert!
And all this for an affordable price, fast service and exceptional food quality. We will happily return and highly recommend this restaurant to our friends and families!

My son and I had the 6 course tasting menu. The food is French with Korean flavors.
Everything about this meal was perfect from the service to the atmosphere and mostly the food. The staff was friendly and very helpful, telling us every detail about the food we were eating. They were able to accommodate me as a pescatarian while my son had some meat courses. The attention to detail is incredible. The flavors were absolutely delicious. This is a really special place that I 100% recommend.

I will admit it, I am American. I am used to a dinner that last an hour, maybe an hour and half if it is more than myself and husband.
Our dinner at Perception lasted well beyond that, but the thing that we noticed it never felt that way. We opted for the 6-course meal with wine pairing.
The pacing of the food and wine was spot on. It allowed us to enjoy each dish with just enough time in between to wonder what the next creation would be. The servers took enough time to explain each dish, the preparation, and how the chosen wine matched with the dish.
Each dish that came our way was delicious and a work of art on a plate. The standouts for us were the pork shoulder amuse-bouch, the dish we called radish crab tacos, and the tri-layered grapefruit dessert. Oh and the surprise dessert of chocolate truffle and fruit roll atop a bed of sweet popcorn nestled in Asian styled box.
The service was amazing and though the dishes were upscale and dramatic the casual feel of the restaurant made us feel welcomed and at home. We look forward to another meal at Perception during our next visit.

A wonderful experience!
In terms of service, discretion, delicacy and kindness from the whole team, who spoke to us about the dishes and products in detail.

Incredible dishes where flavors mix with delicacy and splendor. The chef came to our table for his signature dish which was an absolute delight, this restaurant is worthy of a Michelin star. The wine pairing was also excellent. We will come back for sure.
