The onion soup was the best we've had in Paris. A pleasant surprise. Wife was also very happy with her escargot. Wife had the duck breast for her main course. It was like a duck steak. Was very tasty. Definitely recommend. I had the cassoulet,...which was huuuuge! I couldn't finish it. It was a little too salty for me, but otherwise was very good. The house wine was one hell of a deal for 5 Euro. Service was friendly. Overall, definitely recommend.More

We had a wonderful meal here on Valentine’s Day after my now fiancé surprised me with a restaurant not only duck themed (I love ducks) but also serving amazing duck. The atmosphere was intimate, French and welcoming. There were only around 8-9 tables but every...one was full and almost everyone was French. The food was brilliant and so was the wine. The staff again brilliant. There were also so many ducks / duck themed items. I proposed to my fiancé and we drank Champaign. A truly magical evening. Would love to go back to celebrate an anniversary in time to come. Cannot recommend enough.More

We came here on a rainy Sunday evening to enjoy some local duck. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile and promptly seated. My husband had the tasting menu and I opted for the a la carte. The french onion soup and the...foie gras were delicious and for mains we had duck a l’orange and I had the cassoulet. We shared the tarte tatin for desert which was delicious. Lovely local wine too. Make sure you book before as it’s very small!More

My friend and I have just left this place. It was really good at the beginning and we were so much looking forward to have dinner here, especially taking into account the fact the restaurant is specialized in duck and fois gras. After we got...the food and tried it, we found out that the pan-fried good gras was burned and bitter, the oeuf cocotte was overcooked and tasted more like omelet, the third dish was ok. We asked the owner to change two of our dishes and literally that moment he got aggressive. I am using the right word here.. Unfortunately.. The dishes we're taken back to kitchen with the sound of cracking dishes and loud sounds in French. That was very uncomfortable, I do understand that people do make mistakes, but different waiter came to us in couple of minutes time asking to leave and pay all in full. When we rejected because of food quality and attitude we only got the words of the owner to our backs ”leave, leave NOW. I have nothing else to say, but to suggest this place to people who really want to ruin their dinner and all the Paris magic.More

“When you spend 10 minutes talking on your phone after the food has been served, of course the œuf cocotte will be overcooked since coming out of the oven! And the seared foie gras will be cold... These ladies did nevertheless eat the onion soup,...More

Twelve of us have booked this Restaurant on the first night in Paris when seeing the six nations for the last three time ( over six years). Every time we have enjoyed a great friendly welcome like we are regular customers. This is a lovely...family run business. The food is always excellent .The duck is well cooked and I especially like the Duck Cassoulet. Simple but very tasty. Wine and drinks are reasonable. We look forward to going back in two years time if no before.More

I must admit I was a bit skeptical about French food but this place was the most amazing surprise! It made my trip to Paris absolutely unforgettable! The duck (Magret de Canard) was perfectly cooked, soft and savory and I really enjoyed everything else. I’m...usually not a fan of crème brûlée but even that was pretty amazing! I will definitely recommend to any of my friends that might visit Europe in the future ^^ Oh and the lady that served us was also nice, patiently bared with my horrible French and (thankfully for me) spoke good English too!More

Cute restaurant in lively quarter decorated with - you guessed it - ducks! The food is reasonably good but certainly nothing exceptional. The service, however, is quite unfriendly, even for Paris.

The Oeuf cocotte was sensational, this was some of the best food we have had in Paris. Service was good, considering the restaurant was full. Highly recommended!

As a duck lover I could not resist sampling this restaurant and staying just 5 minutes walk away it made for an easy option, I did of course reserve a week before to ensure I got a table. It is a small bistro style restaurant...so do reserve if you can. Service is personal, food is from the family farm and just delicious. I opted for the tasting menu, charcuterie plate, duck a l'orange and a chocolate fondant. Complimented with a glass of red. It really was a fabulous dining experience. Fine dining it is not, seriously good food and warm service it is.More
