The food is excellent. The service is superb. I can’t ask for anything. This is off the tourist beaten path. Customers are mostly local. Could have rated it more than the maximum. That part of the 8th arrondissement is gastronomically very poor with either horrible"pasta" and "salad" eateries or overpriced business restaurants. So, The Boudoir was a great surprise: the set lunch menu is reasonable (for the area) and good value and the wine list is very...well balanced and very good. Unfortunately the wines are too expensive, which is a shame as people drink less and pay much more attention. The result is very pleasant indeed. The menu , à la carte, is extremely tempting and excellent. Service friendly and professional. An excellent experience to be renewed.More

There must be thousands of small bistros like Le Boudoir (rue du Colisée off the Champs Elysée) in Paris. Rammed at lunchtime by middle-aged men putting away good, plain French cooking. I am reminded of Inspector Maigret hurrying home to a blanquette de beau bien...mijoté. In my case the menu de jour offered jambon persillé, roti de beaux scattered with tiny, pink turnips, carrots and potatoes followed by a chocolate surprise. Two glasses of Malbec from Cahors were a rich companion. By the way, the name of this small resto has nothing to do with bedrooms. It refers to boudin noir, the chef's signature dish; alas, not on the menu that day.More

We went for dinner on a Thursday night. We were greeted with a warm welcome and immediately felt in good hands. One course only surpassed by the next. The service was attentive and informative. We let the waiter choose the wine and we were not...disappointed. After eating all over Paris, it is this restaurant that we enjoyed the most and will be revisiting with every opportunity.More

Share the starters on a wooden plank. Great idea! Ask for wine recommendations and the staff gets excited which makes you feel welcome. Cote de Bouffe was great. Profiterol for dessert was amazing. They speak english very well and make you feel welcome.

Better than standard/varied Paris bistro menu, stylish interior, helpful staff, good location - what's not to like?
