Simply the best meal we have ever had - no exaggeration! This Chef is a culinary genius. We called in to the restaurant early to check the menu out but he explained we were too early as it was “still in his head” lol . There is no set menu - he creates it from scratch each day. We explained our food intolerances and he tailored his menu to provide a perfect meal from what was already a bespoke plan. We cannot recommend this restaurant to you enough. If you appreciate great food and fine wine then you must eat here. If this man does not already have a Michelin star, he should have!!

The food was extraordinary-creative, beautifully presented, but unpretentious. The chef -amazingly, a “one man show” -also somehow found the time to step out of the kitchen and interact with each of the 9 tables. His wife was gracious and always helpful. The ambience, the welcome atmosphere, and the great background jazz all made it a wonderful experience. We went to a number of great restaurants in Bordeaux, but this was our favorite.

The restaurant was excellent and the food and wine were very good. The fixed price of 49 euros included a starter, main, and dessert. I rarely get dessert with my meal and would much preferred additional priced options of starter + main and main + dessert. Also the selections for the main dish/entre were limited. Overall it is an excellent restaurant that would receive a higher rating if the limitations I identified were incorporated.

The restaurant is located in the city center. We have been here twice for lunch and dinner. The menu is not large, but all the dishes are original and beautifully served and presented. Service at a good level, supported by friendly communication.

We had the market menu for lunch, a set menu with one starter, a choice of two main courses and desert or cheese. The waiter was excellent and did his best to explain in English each dish. We decided to have 3 courses, each one was fantastic. It is a very small restaurant in a backstreet but the enthusiasm of the waiter and the chef shone through. Great value for money.

From start to finish - a true local gourmet experience. Amazing, what the chef cooks up in the tiny kitchen - like a magician, The two amuse bouche set the tone, and it gets better and better from there, all the way to the most creative chocolate ganache dessert. The four course menu, very favorably priced for the supreme quality of the whole experience, will wow even the most spoiled “foodies” in the world. Pair it with a short but well crafted accessible wine list and a most welcoming host, and you have all the ingredients for a fantastic authentic gourmet experience in the center of town.

This restaurant is located on a side street near the opera house. Epicenter is an intimate space with fewer than ten tables. The menu focuses on seasonal specialties and very inventive versions of traditional dishes. We particularly enjoyed the Blue Lobster from Brittany paired with Apricot and Zucchini creme. The chef, Benjamin and host, Pierre create an experience that is both delicious and congenial. Highly recommended!

Superb dinner. We ate here on 30/12 and were delighted with the dinner that was served to us. This is a tiny restaurant and so booking ahead is necessary. We had an amuse bouche of mushrooms, cockles and bellota ham which was excellent. Scallops for starter, pork for main and a stunning coffee crème brûlée for pudding. Lovely service and we will definitely return on our next visit to Bordeaux, Thanks for a wonderful evening 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Unassuming tiny restaurant which delivers a set course of dishes .The only choice on the night we went was lobster or veal as the main course.
The food is delicious with a good selection of local wines.
One chef and one head waiter delivered an exceptional meal in simple surroundings. Our last night in Bordeaux was memorable as we discovered that we had left the best till last.

Tiny restaurant with a tiny kitchen that can provide a big eating experience.
From the moment we arrived, the owner/waiter was attentive and pleasant. The food (only a choice of mains) was superlative and beautifully presented. Innovative and full of flavour - my wife and I really enjoyed the entire experience.
The restaurant only does about 16 covers so make sure you book early and enjoy what was, for us, easily our best meal in Bordeaux.
Limited wine list but an interesting and thoughtful list nevertheless.

This restaurant was the best part of my day! I was being impulsive with my lunch choice, saw burrata on the menu and decided to go for it. Everything was as perfect as can be. The chef was an expert at his craft. The food was a dream for the senses and the food was based on a seasonal menu, so everything was fresh. Menu was small, making it easy to choose. Everything was perfect. C’est parfait! I recommend Restaurant Epicentre highly if you visit Bordeaux! You can’t go wrong! ♥️

We were extremely lucky and just happened to get in “last minute” for a dinner seating due to someone cancelling last minute…
What luck! A small, intimate setting with very personal and personable service!
The food was perfect. It is a very small but very well curated menu and wine list.
Three courses, but we ended up wishing having opted for more.
Really insightful, intricate dishes. Perfectly planned flavour-profiles that just sing, executed to perfection.
Utmost care expressed in every part of the dish.
Worth it over and over and I wished I could come back again and again to find out what new wonders chef has in store for me!
Could not recommend more for anybody really interested in modern, imaginative flavour combinations.
To me, this is the epitomy of what gastronomy is about. I wish them all the success!

Wow, this is a small restaurant with only 18 seats, one waiter and one chef. But can they make good food? Yes. Simply the best we got in France. You feel very welcome and the waiter is extremely nice and good. The chef has a quite small kitchen but creates the most amazing dishes.

A super restaurant with a wonderful team - Pierre was a great host. The menu only had one choice to make - the main course (sole or fillet of beef) - and we were in the best hands. A must-visit if in Bordeaux.

My wife and I had dinner here during a weekend trip to Bordeaux. I can’t recommend it enough. Excellent service from the second we walked through the door. The food was simply amazing and they had no problem catering to my wife’s pescatarian diet.
