This was a great experience from start to finish. The girl (sorry I didn’t ask her name) who greeted us on arrival could not have been more welcoming and helpful as we were the only English speaking people in the group and our French was not great! We then were led into the dark and it really is completely dark - you can see absolutely nothing. It is a great experience - so much fun and strangely relaxing in a way as you also have to give up your phone and watch on the way in so no distractions! You really have to live in the moment. The food was delicious even though some did end up on my lap - don’t wear white!! Our waiter Arinstal from Cameroon was also so helpful and made the experience great fun. There is a debrief afterwards and you will be surprised when you see what you actually ate! I would definitely recommend you do this when in Bordeaux.

It’s truly an experience you should do at least once in your life. It's really different, an apprehension at the start of something that we don't know and that we can't control. But once we are there and thanks to the great professionalism and sympathy of the blind waiters/waitresses, we overcome our fear and discover a different world and we must relearn all the everyday gestures, as if we ourselves became blind. The cuisine is refined both in terms of flavors and the complexity of the dishes, which makes it difficult to know what you are tasting. Very disappointed for a Valentine's Day meal!

Marilou welcomed us with great enthusiasm. Our guide Richie, a visually impaired person, accompanied us throughout the meal with gentleness and kindness in a world that is his: in complete darkness. It was a nice experience to put yourself in the place of blind people at first or when we are seated at the table, you have to locate the cutlery, bottle, bread basket, glass.

Absolutely incredible experience.
All the senses are awakened after a few minutes of destabilization.
We have the right to eat with our fingers and it is even recommended: touch the food, smell it...
It’s truly an atypical experience. We eat foods thinking we recognize them, but we are often wrong.
The dishes were very good. We were there with our 2 children aged 12 and 13 who also loved it. The discovery part of the dishes at the end is also very nice.
Special thanks to Lauriane who served us throughout the meal. We were able to talk with her at the end about disability and it was very interesting. Thanks to her for giving in a little.

An unprecedented experience... Plunging into the dark we lost all our bearings and it is really disconcerting. Great welcome and the servers are really nice
