Heard great things about the place so decided to stroll in today for the first time.. I don't know how ye can keep business by selling people cold sausage rolls!.. Ye didn't even ask if I wanted to heat it.. I just assumed it was...hot as they looked like they were under a light.. thought it would at least be warm.. No stone cold and service much the same.. won't be returning.More

Love the full Irish breakfast. loads on the plate and the porridge bowl so full and loaded with fruit I wasnt able to finish it. Scrambled egg very soft. I still have to try out the rest of the food but I'm sure its fabulous...as well. Friendly staff and low prices. This is my go to cafe now. Cant wait for the next visit.More

We had breakfast here on last Saturday. We got a lovely welcome from Agata. She was very helpful because one of our breakfasts was not the usual fare- 3 rashers, toast and tea. I also asked for my scrambled eggs to be cooked softly. We...had our pots of tea served up within minutes, and this helped to pass the time until the breakfasts were delivered-both were very tasty and obviously freshly cooked. The rashers were fresh and really meaty, and yes, the scrambled egg was perfect. A nice touch was that the beans were served in a container, so they did not soak into the rest of the food. This is a very good breakfast choice, not the least pretentious and the quality of the food and the service is terrific. There was a good cross section of patrons, and all were very comfortable. This will be my go to breakfast venue in future.More

I love to get a quick bite here as I work over the road, I regularly have breakfast and lunch here The staff are mainly polish and they are all so friendly and attentive The food is cheap, soup & homemade brown bread is €3.50...Sandwich and tea is €5, the early morning porridge is really good & it comes heaped with fruit, I think that is €3.50 It is great value, lunch times mid week - you may have to share a table It does a great trade with all the offices on Henry street and it would be great if they delivered to the offices tooMore

Cafe Waffe is a small cafe in Limerick - situated off the beaten track if one is walking, but, easy to see if driving by. A fab place to dine! Great food & fantastic, friendly service. Always busy - and that’s a good sign of...great food! A must try are their coconut scones & chicken soup! Great value for money also!More

Stumbled upon Caffe Waffe while looking for a breakfast place in Limerick on a Saturday morning. This is where the Irish eat breakfast. It's unassuming and friendly, and the food is excellent.

I had read a lot of good reviews so decided to get my lunchtime sandwich here. To be honest it was very average. I got a toasted panini with Cajun chicken, cheese and mayo. I would have expected the chicken to be proper chicken breast...but instead it seemed to be that ready made slimy chicken you get at the deli in Spar or Centra. I was hoping to get a sweet treat too as I had read that their baked good we’re lovely but the display was pretty much empty (it was only 1:15), with just 2 pains au chocolat, 2 cookies and a bun on display. It was fine but I wouldn’t write home about it.More

We had a breakfast here on a Friday morning, and this place is great. The food is tasty, the service friendly and the price of the food not expensive at all. Definitely worth to come here. The place is cozy and always full, which means...only one thing... One of the best in town. Even better in some way than the on of the fancy 5* hotel in Limerick city centreMore
