With four days here, you can really tap into those good times, whether that’s nursing a pint at a corner pub in Temple Bar, listening to ridiculously talented performers along pedestrian-only Grafton Street, or climbing aboard a majestic three-masted ship. I should know—I’ve spent days here getting lost in the city’s cobblestone streets and delighting in every detour.

One thing to know about Dublin—this is a city that rewards detours. So when you get lost on cobblestone streets (and everyone does), resist the urge to map yourself back on course and poke around little cafes and shops first. Listen to the buskers along Grafton Street. Duck into any pub that looks appealing in Temple Bar.
