The main things here are burgers and pizzas and the prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the quantities. Luckily, the food tastes very good too, so you really can't go wrong. There's also a good selection of draft beers, but for some reason that's not...shown on the drinks menu. Service was friendly and attentive and we were never kept waiting for long. The GM also took the time to make sure we were happy with everything, which was encouraging to see. Well worth a visit, even just for drinks.More

Outstanding. I found Foundry 39 via Tripadvisor on our last day in Edinburgh. Wow! We love a burger place. The chicken burger I had was incredible and so reasonably priced. My husband had 3 small plates for £14. He was also really pleased with his...choices. Great industrial setting. We visited mid afternoon so it was quiet but I can imagine of an evening there will be a great vibe. Highly recommended. We will be back next time we are visiting Edinburgh for sure.More

Was looking for a swift, enjoyable meal in the city and it delivered this. Food was nice and extremely good value for money. Chicken tenders were fantastic, and whilst the tacos weren't quite to my liking, my partner thoroughly enjoyed hers. Would come back again.

Came here to eat on Tuesday evening. Nice place inside with an interesting style. I didn't so long looking around at the things on the walls that the people serving kept on coming over as they thought I wanted something! The menu is nice with...a good choice of different things. Of course i had the burger as I do everywhere we go. It came in a really nice soft bun with plenty of really nice very thin fries. The patty itself was good but overcooked so dry in places, but it has potential to be really good if cooked slightly less. It came with a crazy amount of burger sauce which wasn't necessary and made it messy. My wife got the buttermilk chicken burger which came with bacon and hash browns in and the whole thing was massive! Although the chicken was really good quality and well cooked and had a lovely crispy coating, unfortunately the chicken coating was really really really spicy. There was nothing on the menu saying it was spicy (and other menu items did specify they were spicy). My wife doesn't even like pepper so her chicken was not edible at all. She still enjoyed her bacon hash brown burger but that's not what she was hoping for. We asked the waitress when she came to collect the plates if the chicken was supposed to be spicy, and she went to check and came back to say that's how it's normally served. She could clearly see that the whole chicken breast was left on the plate but we didn't really feel there was any apology or understanding that we were paying over £10 for a meal where the main part was inedible. I cannot recommend a restaurant which happily serves spicy food which is not advertised on the menu and I do not find this acceptable. If you dislike spicy food I would steer clear of this place.More
